On a moments whim the Omega was doing what they could to keep ahead. Their Intel brought info everyone ten minutes, anything that could add to the whole picture. While they could watch everything on camera, it was much more important to be watching the Dark Hand side to see things before they ever made it on camera.

Brutare called for more mages into the area and especially another group of Holy knights. There where a few to spare and lets face it. All of the Omega knew they could hold up extremely well against the Dark Hand. Four where sent into the lower level and waited just beyond the hole that was being cut in.

As the elevator raised again the gun men opened fire as support from the soldiers slowed down anything that charged. The knight as well held an amazing front there with the sentinel jugernaughts behind him motionlessly holding anything and everything off and in the smaller room.

They held a good heat but the battle didn’t really start until the hole in the floor was complete. Automatically the guns began their lawn of bullets in all direction below. They hit everything they could below them and for every Collective hit it became a successful conversion. Not only did this brake out a civil war on the bottom but made it difficult for anything to reach the top. It didn’t take long though for a brake through and a few broken torrents slowed the Omega down as there was now a flood of Dark Hand on the deck

As the hole opened the collective retreated as hundreds of rounds from both sides of the holes lite up the passage way. THe turrets effectivly damaged each other enough so the collective could swarm up. As the collective ant lions and buggers swarm the special turrents opened up on them. The collective just stopped moving, for seconds they stood their, and when they started to move again it was to kill the other collective. In the background Salin heard the screetching of Claire, a screetched that was mimiced by all the Collective in the area. Salin rushed to her side and caught her as she fell limp to the ground. She was thrashing in pain, pain that was unquie, something taht she had never felt before.

Aides started to scream as he caught her, he couldn't hear waht they where saying ,the screetching and her fainting was to much. He carried her to a bunk in the command center and laid her down before turning back to his aides, "WHat the hell is going on!" he demanded with a ferice roar that would frieghten the most fearless men.

An aide pointed to a feild camera, "The turrents are firing some toxin that is breaking Claire's control over the collective, or so it appears. We don't know much until we get a sample to study."

Salin nodded and turned to another aide, "Pick a recovery team to capture adn bring back hit Collective to study. Send them straight to the feild labs when you do. Salin looked back at Claire and frowned, he could not imagine the pain that it caused her when the links where servered. Every other second she would thrash as another Collective link was shattered. Salin had to stop these turrents before it was too late. "Stop all beetles and other Collective reinforcements! Withdraw any that are not turned yet. Everyone up that ramp is a potential threat."

An aide looked at him like he was crazy, "But sir that is half the ramp's army, and the most expendable. The plan depended on them sir!"

Salin glared at him emotionlessly, "Do as your told or you will be my next meal," he threatened. Losing the attack was less important then losing all of his collective soldiers. "Send footsoilders with ladders to the ramp! Have them deploy latters and climb the short distance up the hole. Have anything that can make the jump or climb of the hole to the ramp. I want engeneers to destory those turrents and capture samples of the bullets they are using!" He roared as the reports for the front trenches came in.

"Sir we are progressing a little behind there sir. The moving of the Omega turrents helpped us a lot but the lack of reinforcements from behind has slowed us back down. We behind schedule by a few minutes but the first two lines of trenches has been broken."

"Who broke them?" Salin asked as he sat back and survyed his battle map.

"Carn broke half the first line and is the only one to lead a unit past the second. Impetus, Jeb and Crane have moved into the second trenches with their units. Zaught has begun destorying the turrents remaining on the front line. And Atias is clearing the last pockets of resistence in the first trench."

Salin smiled, "well atleast this battle isn't a total failure yet. We can still win if we move quick enough."

An aide rushed into the room panting, "sir dire news from the ramp! Four Omega Knights have surrounded the holes! We have been thrown back down the ramp and now they lead the captured collective down the ramp! They mean to take the fight to us!"

Salin froze in painic for the first time in the battle, if the knights got down the ramps then they would surely tear through the command posts and supply posts. How had Salin overlooked the possibility of Kinghts appearing. Damn I thought they all died in the first hallway! Blasted Omega must have heald some in reserave. Very well I will have to lead a unit to push them back. Salin stood up, "Get me Impetus's ninja guard and the personal guard of all the commanders. We must push back the Knights before they get down the ramps!"

“To the dead with you all. Blood stains be on m. Oh yes, your blood will taste the best.” Carn screamed over the commotion around him. His blood thirsty call struck fear into all that came across his path and he quickly broke them in half or tore off their limbs and killed one of their fellow soldiers with it. His group of orks frenzied and pushed forward with a mighty unstoppable rage. They seemed to cut through their oppressors like butter as one by one the guard died in front of them.

Impetus followed behind with the others a singled out the knight. He knew his odds where against him but his honor and religion to the Heavens beckoned his fight. As he raised his sword to attack it was easily met against Impetus’s swords and then nimbly he spun to strike the man in the side. The blow only offset him by seconds as another swing, to powerful to block, barreled overhead. Impetus bent low with his swords following through after the weapon passed over him into a flip. The next few hits combined through a combo of hits pushed the knight backward. The solid strength man readied his stamina and bent at his knees. He was sure this time he would hit Impetus. This attack was a fake and swiped high with a heavy swing but let it cut around into a quick low jab that would do some critical wounding if struck. Impetus read into the stance and knew his real offensive would only be drawn from counter or fake. He was quick to avoid the first but never ducked, only jumped and threw his legs out sideways to avoid everything altogether. Then just before catching the second counter the knight pulled up with his blade and struck a heavy smack against the shoulder arms of Impetus’s armor. This tossed Impetus up and spun him back onto his back. Not a good position to be in as the Knight charged with full weight and another heavy swing to end Impetus if it hits him on full weight. Thinking quickly Impetus wields his battle fans and spreads them to 3 moons to engulf his whole person in the hidden fan. Then with a swift motion and with well practiced perfection, the moment the knight comes down on him the fans are removed to reveal the long extended lance that Impetus uses his position to fix it perfectly through the armor and into the upper ribs of the holy knight. Blood spewed from the mans mouth as the impact dug into his body. His eyes rolled into hi head as he died moments latter.

The rest quickly dissembled their completion and moved for the hall which was blocked by the juggernaughts. It was hard to tell if they where just ignoring the fact that there was a war on the other side of their giant shields but they didn’t move or budge at all. They just stood their with their shields extended and blocking off the hall completely.

On the other end the room up top was over flowing with Dark Hand, that was until they reached the knight and the torrents. It was a quick clean up as easy kill same left and right. Quickly they made their way to the ramp as the number of converted Collective grew. The torrents that where pulled further back in the hall where on wheels and being pulled along with the knights the further they went. Once they reached the ramp so many collective turned that the civil war broke lose full scale. One of the Knights peered around the lower area, he was more armored then the rest and carried an odd shaped gun. His target was very specific and he would make sure he hit what he needed to hit. Other Dark hand that got around the 4 knights hurried on up to the next floor which was simply connected by stairs and started all out chaos for everyone seaking refuge.

Salin quickly suited up for battle and took off his saber from his weapon's collection. He wore his usual leather combat outfit. He got together the handselected personal guard of Impetus, as well as his own personal guard and they set forth to the ramp with a unit of dark knights behind them. They had to stop the Omega Knights from getting to the 2nd floor and tearing through the command and medical bays there. Almost all of the collective that had went up the ramp where now under the control of the Omega and they came donw the ramp with a fury. Luckily 2/3 of the Collective, including all but 1 beetle, had yet to go up the ramp and where saftly positioned in the back of the 2nd floor awaiting commands.

Salin saw the chaos on the ramp as the four knights and their new collective allies formed a circle on the ramp and start to tear up any of the Dark Hand foot soldiers that tried to attack them. The smart soldiers where the ones moving around the Omega and going up into the third floor to help with the fight up there. Salin got to the appoarch of the ramp and start up.

It wasn't long before he met up with the Knights who recongized him instantly. One who was wielding a gaint two handed battle axe stopped fighting a puny goblin and called his brothers attention, "Hark, there is the demon Salin Van Dossel. This be the fiend who led the attacks that got the fiends this far. This whole battle is his doing!"

Another knight who weilded a great sword also spoke, "In the name of the Creators we must take his head!"

A thrid knight armed with a long sword and shield pounded the two together, "Surely this fiend can not but fall to the might of one of us. He will die quickly to the might of us four!"

The last knight, who was weilding a mace and shield, laughed and said, "Brothers with this death the Dark Hand will crumble from fear and leave this place as we slaughter the heathens! For the Omega!" He roared as the swung his mace into the skull of the nearest foot soldiers next to him.

Salin cringed as he watched, one knight had in fact nearly killed him, he stood no chance against four. One of Impetus' special ninja's stepped up, "We will make short work of these knights Lord Van Dossel."

The other drew his kamas, "Yes my lord we shall fight with you to the death.

Salin bid there weapon's down, "Go forth I brought you not to fight these four but for a more important cause."

The second ninja protested, "But next to protecting Lord Impetus protecting a valued commander like yourself is our highest mission."

Salin smirked, "Yes but your abilities lie not in straight combat but that out he dark. Sneak forth up onto the third floor and hunt those that stand before us and kill them in silence. Kill all who command these dogs and leave them headless." The ninja's nodded and disappeared in the crowd.

Salin's personal already had their orders to get past the knights and join the battle up above. Salin really planned on fighting the knights by himself. His goal was not to kill them but keep them occupied till the other heros arrive in this part of the hall.

(Okay i will write about the fight iwth the knights you just post about the others...The ninjas are going ot hunt for other knights and commanders in the thrid floor, as well as anyone else of importance and assassinate them.))

For those that made it to the top it was a difficult road. Nothing but onstant fire and fighting. The waves of Omega where much more repleneshed and done so much quicker. The newest addition for the Dark Hand, Impetus’s last guard and Salins personals, made very quick use of the torrents. They where done for within minutes and all was left was the fight. It was at a stand still without any stronger units. The Omega where holding very well with their unit of heros.

The percusion on the 4th floor keyed in on their heading. As soon as The guard where away from Salin they where targeted by the percusion and flagged. Now all important units would know where they where. The Omega’s plan was to make sure all of the new units, especialy the ones that wheren’t grunts or at all expendable would never make it to the 4th floor. More torrents where activated and pulled from out of the walls and the stairs where closed down. The only way onto the forth floor was now another elevator further down the hall.

As for Salin, the knights closed in on him. The two in front laughed as the others held back. They would stagger their attacks and disorinate him before anything. A ray of holy light shot from one and stunned you. It was powerful holy magic that followed with a nice smack in the face. One of the Knights pogressing on you seemed to completely ignore your stand. He seemed to pull a weapon, a very strange gun from his side, and headed for the commanding tents.

((what where the heros going to do in the room))

((the heros are just pushing down teh hall slaughtering everything))

Salin doged and weaved between blow after blow as three knights circled him and swung again and again at him. He was doing all he could just dodging the attacks, let a lone actually returning with any of his own. The knights laughed as they forced him to dance back and froth across the plaform filled of screaming soldiers charging up pass the dueling knights into the hell of combat above.

Salin could hardly hear the knights wicked laughter over the roar or bullets and screams from the upper levels. Suddenly a sharp pain raced through his lower leg. He looked down and saw the blade of the long sword buried in his leg. A scream of pain escaped his lips as he jumped back, the sword fell roughly from his leg spilling blood down his calfs.

The knight who had the long sword walked over and grabbed his fallen weapons before flourishing it, "How is this pathetic mongrel really the terror of the Dark Hand. He can't even take a sword to the leg without crying!" The two other knights laughed at him as they closed in forcing him agains the wall.

Salin despite his pain could see the fourth knight moving slowly down the ramp. Groups of guards tried to stop him but he merely brushed past them ignoring them as if they were ant he could simply step on. Salin knew he had to stop him from using whatever weapon he had. Salin jumped over the three knight. When he landed his hurt leg could not take the impact and he fell limp to the floor riving in pain once more.

The knights snickered once more and turned to face him. The knight with the great sword stomped on Salin's back. Blood spewed from his mouth in fits of coughs as the knight took his foot off Salin's back. "Salin Van Dossel, the mighty vampire of the Dark Hand, you are a pathetic worm and shall die right here upon this sad excuse for a ramp." The knight raised his great sword as the others watched in silence.

Salin took a deep breath as he tried to push himself up off the ground. He fell back down, his back had been hurt rather badly by the knight and it would take about an hour to heal on its own. Salin saw the raised great sword out of the corner of his eye and knew he was gonna die if he couldn't get up off the ground.

Salin started to sing a song in words uncomprehensible to the knights. The three stopped and looked with wonder at Salin. "What are you singing worm! A prayer to the creators won't save you now," The knight with the mace said with a laugh.

Salin smirked as he came to the end of his song, suddenly sparks of lightning eruppted over the three grouped knights. Streams of electricity flowed through the metal armor of the knights causing them to back up and rive in short lived pain. Salin used this distraction to push himself up and jump off the end of the ramp.

They where about half way up the ramp when he jumped so he landed with a hard impact and shouted in pain. A group of soldiers ran over and surrounded around their lord, "Lord Van Dossel lord Van Dossel are you alrght Lord Van Dossel!" They asked as they picked him up and carried him back to the medical tents.

White mages rushed towards him and started to cast their strongest spells, though some where to tired to for very long, many soldiers where being brought back to the tents at all times. In about a minute Salin felt his wounds close up and his back fixing itself.

Salin sat up slowly and looked around at the blood soaked tent around him. White mages and doctors of all types where rushing from bed to bed doing what ever was possible to save the dying soldiers that lined the bed. Almost a dozen tents like this had been set up and contsently filled, makeshift cots where set up outside the tents for those with lesser wounds.

Salin got out of the bed and grabbed his saber when the sudden sound of a massive explosion echoed, then came the shock wave that knocked everyone but Salin down in the tent. Beds where flipped over, patients fell to the floor in agonizing pain.

Rushing out of the room Salin saw the knight with the giant gun standing at the foot of the ramp. He turned and saw that all but two medical tents, his and one other, had been obliterated by the gaint gun on the knights shoulder. A gaint crate was formed where the shot had landed and not a single thing lay with in it.

Salin stared at the knight and watched as the three others slowly make their way down the ramp towards him. "Lord Impetus, please arrive with the rest of the hero's soon," Salin said to the wind as he stared at the knights adn the ramp.

It took them forever, but Carn and Impetus finaly broke through the sentried defensive juggernaught. It turnned out the thing was a fake the whole time and would of broke down the entire floor had it been hit. Without Zaught and Impetus's clever thinking the thing would never had been hacked. Now the group of ragging heores met with the knights and the 4th floor to terrerize the Omega. It was abig bloody battle with most eventful skill in fighting. All over the place, beautiful craftmanship of blade work was displayed in mass form. As though it was a gallery of style and art the works of these heroes brought death to most everytthing that came in their path. With all of their efforts, through all of their pain and suffering, a victory could be graspped but a loss could not be stopped.

The knight with the hand pistol strolled his way through the meddical tents and rested upon one in particular. One that homed a very valuble asset to Salin. The knight put one hand against the tent pull and then riped it down with force. There, inside laid Clare. Her strength not yet all there and pain surging through her from the deaths of her young. the knight gave a smile and then pointed the trianed pistol to her face. Inside was a very nasty concaction(sp) of chemicals that had been doing very evil things to the collective. they wondered what the saem thing would do to the Queen, the ruller of all of them. The knight paused and then pulled the trigger. The barlle exploded, releasing a powerful bulk of lead fused with a bright yellow glow. It cut deep into Clare and instantly it gave affect. Once it hit her she began convulsing. her body thrown in all directions in a wild mannor. Foam shot from her moth as her eyes drained of color. Her skin became very pale. Then all at once she fell to the ground completly still as though paralized. Once she went still all of the Collective went into a freenzy as if they had all lost control. they killed and attacked anything near them without any filter.

Salin saw the knight walk into the tent containing Claire. "Nooo!" he yelled as he dashed over. Before he made it to the tent the sound of the shot echoed from the tent. Suddenly he heard the screams of the collective in the various places around him. The unnatural high pitch screech roared out nonstop as struck out at anything around them.

Salin felt the psyche blast in his mind, causing everything to go fuzzy for a second. It had to be a gigantic pyschic blast for Salin to feel it with his limited powers. Salin ripped the fabric flap off the front of the tent and saw Claire on the ground covered in foam.

His entire body tensed up as he saw the sadistic evil look on the knights face. Suddenly only the knight and Claire's body where in sight. Everything else in the world went black. He saw not the bed that Claire had been laying on nor the medical equipment around the room.

He drew up his saber and flourished it. "Knight of the Omega Alliance. You soon draw your last breath"
PostPosted: Wed Sep 09, 2009 8:52 pm
The knight laid a sinker to thicken the air. He had no idea what catastrophic damage he had just done to either Claire of Salin. At this point he did not care. His mission proved a success and he would now reap the rewards. So he thought before Salin showed up in the blink of an eye with his weapon drawn.

“Silence you abomination. You will have your chance to be sacrificed up to the creators in forgiveness for your sins. Don’t get to hasty or jump in line.” The knight seemed the least bit worried. His tone matched the slothful way he put the gun away and reached for his sword. That was his first mistake.

As soon as he took his eyes off of Salin he was knocked back with a furious tackle. Sure a berserked form of Salin wouldn’t be the most damaging but if his enemies aren’t going to pay attention he is more then able to stand his ground. This was a prime example. The knight fell to the ground dumfounded. Salin skillfully, with his vampiric ways, redirected himself away from the wall to face to knight once more. Without another word or breath he pounced on the knight, giving small blows here and there. His weapon didn’t do much at all to harm the knight but what was strange was how every hit seemed to make it more difficult for the knight to get to his feet. Any other situation and the knight would have already had Salin pinned and attacking back. For some reason the knight seemed to be falling asleep.

The fight raged on all around. It didn’t seem like a spec of positive light shinned on either side. Death was among them all; from all corners and all sides. Now that the Collective ran free and killed everything no one was safe. The only good left for the Dark Hand was the hero crew regaining consciousness. They where skillfully taking on the knights on the bridge. From there they would move onto the next floor and kill the rest of the Omega.

Salin smiled wickedly as he softly chanted a sleeping song into the knight. The knight slowly lost power to resist his attacks. As he chanted longer the stronger it got. He pounded and pounded with his fists on the knights helmet. He had given up the use of his sword after a couple of swings.

Blood spewed from his hand as it was cut up on the knights tough armor. Immense amounts of pain rivoted through his body, but Salin cared nothing for it. Killing the knight was the only thing that mattered to him, nothing else. At this point he wasn't even aware that there was a battle going on around him. All the echoing screams of the dying, the sound of explosions and pain. Nothing reached his ears. Only the grunts of the knight and the sound of the pounding was heard.

Over and over he pounded the helmet bending it into the face of the knight. Soon he tore a hole from the worn metal and blood seeped through from where the broken metal tore into his face. With the sight of blood Salin picked up his pace and power, slamming harder and harder with each blow. Soon a puddle of blood from both Salin and the knight formed in the crater that had been created.

Within a minute the sound of the knight's nose breaking echoed into Salin's ears. He started to laugh hystaricly as he pound over and over again in triumph. Next came the sound of the jaw fracturing and teeth cracking. The knight started to choke as the pieces of teeth fell back into his throat. On and on Salin went pounding, adding to ever growing puddle of blood in the crater.

After the jaw came the cheeck bone. With these came scraeming from the knight, finally his pain tolerance had reached its limit. Salin howled in victory as he slammed yet on still. There was nothing but animalistic rage taht consumed him. Nothing in the world could stop him from contuning and nothing in the world was ever so satisfying. The finest blood he had ever tasted, a virgin in the Kine land hundreds of years ago, was nothing compared to the feeling of satisfaction and the urge he had to devour every last drop of the knights blood.

By this point the knights face was nothing more then a mixture of blood, bone, skin, and metal. Though Salin saw his next target, the knights exposed eye. It was blood shot from the blood seeping it and the sense of fear resinated from the depths of it.

Salin put on a wicked smile with the giggles of a school girl. He stopped his pounding and put two fingers into the eye socket. He ripped it out with a flick of his wrist. Rolling it around in his palm, he eyed it with laughter. After a second he rolled it up his fingers and dangled it infront of the knights over eye. "I see you!" he grinned devilishly. He tossed the eye back into his mouth and bit down savoring the juices that squirted out.

He swallowed the eye and looked back at the knight. He started to laugh uncontrolably once mroe and stood up. Once over his body he raised a foot to the knight, "When you see your creators tell them, tell them, that there oppression and tryanny will soon be torn down brick by brick and soul by soul. Tell them that Joa Boo sends his requards! Tell them that those pathetic judges send no fear to us! They soon will find the true might of our mighty lord! Tell them that the ones who are abiminations are you! Tell them that Salin Von Dossel sends a gift of ten thousand Omega Souls for them to enslave in the heavens!" With that final words he slammed his foot with all his strength down onto the knight. With a loud crack the skull split open in hundreds of places and the brains ooozed out of hte open cracks.

Salin removed his foot and bent down and grabbed a pile of bone, bloods, brain, and whatever else had been collected in the crater. He leaned his head back and gourged himself on it. As he shawllowed he let out a loud war screetch that echoed over the raging battle.
PostPosted: Sat Sep 12, 2009 12:00 am
As the world flushed back into view you came to find a very ugly side of the battle. The beauty of sweet revenge filled your veins almost as much as its blood filled your own. It provoked you. It dangled you over a great pit of satisfaction and all you had to do was drowned in it, just let go and everything would be perfect. Your heart raced more then it did for years. The hollow rib cage tiff within your body broke open into a wild melody of power. Your voice rang throughout the bloody halls of warfare and hit the ears of all. It was a noble song, a victorious song that gave hope and strength. You where blood thirsty in a violent way and you anted all to know it.

With your voice carrying them further, the Dark Hand managed to fill the forth floor. The three knights on the ramp where destroyed by every hero on the Dark Hand all at once. They where the only thing standing in your way to the last standing Omega, Talim, and controlling Roderick. Every one fought on with the taste of success lingering nearer.

All was well until a loud crackling explosion filled the air with dust. From out of no where came a huge thick blade that struck against one of the outside walls of the forth floor. Seconds latter a blur of armor ran along the wall and clipped the sword from it. He swung it horizontally with great speed and perfect form, killing many in an instant. His combos never seemed to end as over and over again he would twist in some skilled manor to unleash a wave death dealing blows. Exponentially death was racking up a toll to trump the numbers from the entire battle for the day. This single new comer, this monstrous being of abominable power, clenched firmly to his giant blade and struck it roughly against the ground. Shrapnel the size of people shot up everywhere in the fit of war. From behind the cloud of dust and caving in floor the heavily armored thing sheathed its huge great sword and began a temper of laughter.

An eerie silence came over the floors as nothing living moved. It was a luxury to be able to. Those with breath still in their lungs hid for their lives. Impetus and Carn pressed against part of the floor above that had fallen to an angle. They where well hidden and breathing very hard. The other heroes scattered about the floors in a bewildered mess. At this point no one had any idea what was going on and most defiantly no idea what they where up against. It was certain however that none of them wanted to face it. Impetus found Salin and gave him a look. From across the room it oculd of been anything but one thing was for sure, determination. Impetus had that hero look on his face. The kind that meant he was going to do something really stupid to further the rest.

“Carn, I want you to take off and get your men to somewhere safe, far away from here. Go back to my fortress and the coast. That should be enough cover to keep us undercover.”

“Oh and what makes you think I’m going to let you have all the fun?”

“Carn… I don’t think any of this is going to be fun. I am more then likely going to die here. The Dark Hand cannot take on anything like this power and we cannot afford to lose everything we have fought for here. We need you and Salin alive. My part in the Dark Hand has more then expired.” Impetus said giving Carn such a serious look that it left him speechless. He had nothing to say back. There was nothing else to say. He nodded to show his agreement and then readied his flee.

With no further warning Impetus spun around the fallen ruble and set fire to a wave of weapons. With such swift motions he was able to toss every weapon within his reach in a strong way that launched them forward at the godly figure. As he continued to move closer to the thing he tossed more and more weapons. All along he kept close in mind his two katanas strapped to his back, another two at his waist, the daggers firmly attached to the braces on his legs, and shrunken cannon attached to his wrists. The closer he got the more he developed his plan for attack. With each step he shot a few weapons, ducked, kicked his leg into a flip motion and tossed some daggers, then landed into another fury of shots. The figures didn’t have much trouble with any of this. Blocking was not something he seemed to do. Instead he would knock each and every item tossed out of the air with a simple swipe of his blade. Even with its massive size he continued with such great ease. The moments Impetus stood up to the godly figure where heroic yes and they gave the rest of everyone plenty of time to escape but in the end what they all knew was coming came. Once Impetus came into close combat he dove over the knight and tossed down both of his back sheathed swords and landed, ready with his waist swords. The tow he threw bounced off the figures armor with a small dent but as soon as Impetus landed his head went rolling. As if it was expected the whole time the thing spun his body quickly and then let his weight carry his huge great sword around until it met perfectly with the jugulars on Impetus’s neck. The cut sliced through like butter and left a bloody body crumbling to the floor.

“I am Anger, here to judge all that are imperfect. No tainted being can escape judgment. I come for you, all who have been angry, to cleanse your soul and rejoin you with the creators. Come to me now and your verdict will be swift. Run and you will be made example of.” The godly figure spoke in a deep resounding voice. He seemed to say it normally but it was a loud powerful yell to all that heard. Anger gripped down on the hilt of his great sword and cut again into the ground.

Salin regained thought and wakled over to Claire. She was still alive, but barely breathing. Yellow blood pumped from the hole in her chest; if it was not treated soon she would bleed out. From the other medical tent a group of mages and doctors rushed in and started emergancy treatment on her. Salin turned and left, knowing there was nothing for him to do here. H

His revenge had been quentched for now but it still lingered in the pits of his souless body. The knight may have shot her but it was no invention of his own. Talim had ordered the hit and now had invited the many invisible gods of death to scavange through the dead as the judge of Anger slaughtered all who stood. She was responsible for this tradagty, for all the death, for all the suffering. It would be a crime if Salin let this abomination to all that was right in the world live to breath another breath.

Salin walked through the destoryed medical tent with such grace and serenity. Anger was now a fruitless emotion to him, all it lead to was pointless murder. He had heard his calling here, the reason he had been ordered here, wether his lord knew it or not, it wasn't to take over some rediculous fortress, or to gain honor. Like the judges, he was here to deal out punishment. Punishment to the cowardly, punishment to corrupt, punishment to the cult worshippers who gods now killed his friends and men. The Omega where not just an opposing side, they where the very core of evil and corruption in this world. All have seen it wrong, they claim the corruption is on the dark hand side, that may be true, but thats only part of it. Any and all corruption, mistfortune, sadness was because the Omega deemed it be so, wether through there oppression, senseless law, or killing.

All around him soldiers charged and retreated. The ones retreating where the smart, they knew that the judge was impossible to kill. The ones charging where neither smart nor brave, they where senselessly honor hungry creatins whose punishment would be fairly judged. The Dark hand needed not such foolish creatures. Salin smirked with the realization that the judges did serve a purpose after all.

He saw his heros coming down the ramp. When they saw him they ran over quickly to him. "Lord Salin, Lord Impetus has ordered a full withdraw of forces here. There is no victory here now." Splitjaw said.

Salin laughed looking past Splitjaw up the ramp. "Lord Impetus is right, There will be a full withdraw but as for the victory I know that not. If we shalln't win then neither shall they. I will see to that."

Zaught looked at his friend crazily, "Are you off your rocker Salin, that thing killed everything up there in seconds. It will surely kill our Lord Impetus too. You stand..."

Salin interjected, "I never said anything about the judge. He is nothing but a nusicence. Talim is the one who dies tonight. Talin will never again see the moon rise or fall."

Atias looked in shock, "My lord you can't possibly be serious, even if you can get past the judge there are still a dozen or more knights up there. You will never get to her. And then Talim is an amazing fighter herself."

Salin laughed as he bent down and picked up the gun the knight used to destory the medical camps, "I worry not about those ants they call knights." He started to walk past the group of heros. All but Jeb stood still in disbelief.

"Lord Van Dossel, I wish to accompany you and your mission." He called out to Salin.

Salin smiled without turning, "Very well my friend. Together we end Talim's life." With that he kept walking as Jeb caught up.

As they neared to top of the ramp they saw lord Impetus reaching the judge. Carn walked up to Salin, "what are you doing vampire. We are too retreat."

"Retreat if you want Carn I am not letting Lord Impetus die in vain."

"Die in vain, if you take one step out there you will make him die in vain."

"Poor Carn I thought you would have been the one to charge. But no you understand not what my duty is to do here tonight."

"You are truely a fool Salin Van Dossel. Your death will go down in history as a foolish blunder of an arrogant pathetic worm!"

"Maybe but it won't be tonight." With that Salin walked out and ran to the heaps of rumble with Jeb. When they where safely out of seight Jeb looked at Salin.

"Was it smart to piss off Carn like that?" He asked.

Salin smirked, "Yes very, we are fighting the judge of anger. Angering the retreating Carn while Impetus fights him will provide both physcial cover and cloud his senses from finding us." Jeb nodded and the two of them ran to the next pile of rubble.

By this point Lord Impetus's throat had been opened and now vain units of the dark hand charged to take on this monster. The judge killed dozens with each swipe of his sword but more and more crazed and vain soldiers sought the glory of the Judges head. Fortunatly this provide cover for Salin and Jeb to race through the rubble to the elevator to the fortress.

They slid in and Salin handed Jeb the knight's gun, "Take this, cover me whilest I seek out Talim. There will be many knights BEFORE you fire this gun." He said with a wicked laugh. Jeb laughed with him as they went through the lift.

With the fall of Impetus, Anger emerged a God. Known of the Dark Hand knew what to do in the face of such a powerful adversary. They ran like crazy, in a mess, all over the place. The Omega cheered for their victorious angels had shown up to save them all. They sang out praises to the creator for their deliverance and savior. Then from out of no where Anger turns to them with a swift turn and obliterates them as he did to the Dark Hand. It was Anger verses the rest. It seemed that when Anger spoke about killing all that had anger in them, he meant it. There was no bias here. He tore the Omega to pieces as he did any one. On some level there wasn’t a person in the whole Roderick battle that hadn’t ever felt anger. That made everyone a target and at this rate that meant everyone would be dead by the next hour.

Salin pushed on with determination. He knew what he had to do and he would stop at nothing. Jeb followed with the least bit of worry. His fearless clam manor seemed to soothe Salin. It was almost as though Jeb had insurance on dying and wasn’t afraid of facing Anger nor was he afraid of facing a few holy knights and then Talim. The fully armored demonic knight stood no chance statistically against what was about to unravel but yet either did a diplomat. Doom was stepping closer with every inch the two went up. Finally the rushed lift doors opened up to a group of holy knights. They where ready and took no chances. They where already on top of the two even just after the lift opened up. Jeb was quicker though. He lifted his finger with a cocky snicker and snapped. The gesture was simply his way of casting a massive wave of flames. The fire spun like a wheel outward from his position and twirled where ever Jeb pointed. It was powerful enough to shake the knights all away because it had already killed two of them. With the other hand Jeb held on to his long pike. His fingers holding along the hilt dialed a sequence into the side and a bright beam of light shot from out from both points. The pike began to expand until it was long enough to reach his foes. Of course he knew it wouldn’t be any good to wield in that form but with a skillful turn of his wrist he was able to spin it like a helicopter blade and keep them away even further.

“Salin, are you sure this is what you want to? I don’t think this mission will be compromised if Talin lives. Holding on to our own lives would be the top priority at this point. We can come back and kill her latter. Isn’t it to risky now?” Jeb asked in a loud tone. The Knights where getting hard to hold off. There where so many of them. If Jeb didn’t keep changing it up, they would test his hold and most likely run him over. The two continued walking towards Talim’s lair all the while parrying the knights off into the other direction.

From outside the destruction of Anger was harder to see. For the most part people where claming down but didn’t want to stand any where near the Roderick building. The whole Dark Hand ran back for their secure shelter further away. Soon Carn would lead them all to a hidden place where they would be safe but for now it would just be near the docked air ship. As the floods of people left and hurried off towards base camp, more and more people crowded the area. Sudenly a very bright lit split off half of the retreating Dark Hand from the rest. This bright light shot all the way across the field. From within the bright light, which no one could stop looking at, came the most beautiful voice any of them had ever heard. It filled them up with the most happy of all feelings until it finally got them all to stop moving completely. They all just stood there like zombies and drooled of the amazing voice coming from within. Then all of a sudden the light shot off again but instead ignited the entire field. The sexy female figure was now visible from on top of a mound. She bent low to her toes and stretched outward as if awakening. Her laughter shook the thin air around her. Thousands of Dark Hand soldiers just stood there watching her with a face of aw not even noticing that they where burning alive. The woman pulled from the crevasse in her cleavage and out came a long spiny whip. She twirled it for a second and then snapped it against the ground. Everything the whip touched exploded with a mixture of every element.

“I am Lust, here to judge all that are imperfect. You will not want to escape me. There is no escape. Judgement will find you all and for all who have lust in their hearts, there I too will be. NOW, every together, GET ON YOUR KNEES. THEN GET ON YOUR FACES. EAT THE DIRT AS YOUR FLESH MELTS AWAY.” Lust said with a shrill. She was hard to resist. Actually she was impossible to resist. Every single person caught in front of her did as she said.

Salin and Jeb dodged Anger and where now facing knight after knight of the omega. Jeb kept them at bay but Salin knew that it wouldn't be for long. Shouldering the gun he had stolen from the dead knight he fired it at a group of 20 omega soldiers lead by 5 knights coming at them. All 25 of them were obliterated where they stood. The blast also had blew a hole through everyting straight up to the lair. Jeb looked at Salin who nodded; the took off running through the exposed gap swinging and parrying to their sides keeping the remaining knights off them.

In a few seconds a group of knights with huge shields stepped in the way and braced themselfs with spears pointing out to stop their advance. Salin shealthed his sword and swung the gun back to his front and fired once more. The two knights where removed from their defensive positions. As they kept running Salin looked over at Jeb, "I don't know why I want to keep going. To be honest I kinda have to, something inside me tells me that I need to go up to fight Talim. Something is going to happen, something big. And it needs to happen now."

Jeb nodded understanding Salin's crazyness somehow. They reached the door of the lair and Jeb ran and shouldered through the thick door with ease. "here we are Salin." He said as they walked in the door, the remaining knights where not given a chance to pursue them as Anger had swiped the area killing them all before turning back to the third floor where a pocket of Omega resistants had tooken stand.
