Proper English is a**l.
" From where did you come? " is the proper way to say " Where'd you come from? " because you're not supposed to end a sentence with a preposition.
Sexist language is beyond a**l. " Mailman " is sexist, so the proper words are " letter carrier " or " postal worker. "
So like, " From where did the letter carrier come? " is a proper question. But honestly, who the Hell wants to say something like that?
