Quiet and mysterious, Sydonia’s history is veiled in mystery. He keeps mostly to himself and contributes very little to any conversation. He has a good heart, despite his seemingly aloof nature, and he’s fiercely loyal to his friends. Sadly, ‘friend’ is a title he rarely issues to anyone.
Plots?
- Enemies! Sydonia has a bit of a rough history, and I think it would be interesting if I could arrange for some of his former pack members to encounter him once more.
- A best friend! Sydonia is a loyal creature but he has a very hard time letting anyone get close.
- I may be mating him to Lucia, the troupe's lead hyena.
- I will not have him leave the Chokwe.

Sydonia was formally kept as a slave within a larger hyena pack. He was talented in the art of stealth and escape, and seemed to have a heightened sense of smell. He could detect enemies from farther than any of his pack mates and easily eluded them. Because of this, he was used in dangerous scouting missions into enemy territory to steal pups and treasures. He was kept under the careful watch of his alpha, his legs bound when he wasn’t being used for pack missions.

A traveling leopard passed through the hyena’s territory and found Sydonia being held captive. Feeling pity for the hyena, he freed him and helped him escape from the pack’s territory. The two become close friends and eventually joined up with Tir’s army. Sydonia’s companion, sadly, died shortly after the war. Sydonia has become reclusive once more, living close to the Chokwe boarders to keep silent watch over his former companions.
