Also, dino's profile is also pink, the last time (before today) that I checked. I think it's tinted pink now, although that might just be the sunlight reflected off this cherry-wood desk.

I think it's that you associate yourself with prickly, spiny (and awesome) predatory insects. Now, I tend not to have a lot of patience for some people's fear of critters like spiders, rodents, snakes, etc. since my mother has always been fond of them, but... it seems unexpected.

I don't mind finding out, though. I just learned something. :3

Remind me what region you're in...? I so rarely meet Gaians.

I have a question for any that would care to answer.

I was reading some comments on a youtube video and a lot of them were basically about how police are nazi's, etc.

Anywho, two separate incidences.

1. Let's say there is a drunk man (in his 50's) that is making a public disturbance. The police come up to ask him to quiet down or to leave. He refuses and raises his voice saying that it is a free country. Again, the police ask him to be quiet or leave. This time, the man throws up his hands and hits (accidentally) one of the officers and then starts in on raising his voice, calling them names, etc. Nothing major, but just being an a**. So the police try to hand cuff him and escort him out, but he resists and won't let them. So the cop tazers him. Your response if you were viewing this?

2. Let's say there is a drunk man, same age as above. He has made his public disturbance, loud mouthed, cussing out those around him, same as above. This time, a civilian asks the man to politely be quiet or leave. The drunken man says, "Stfu! I can do what the hell I want." (there are police around, just not doing anything). Another civilian comes over and explains that his behavior is unseemly and he should quiet down or leave. Again, the man tells them to mind their own business and goes right back to what he was doing. The first civilian places their hand on the man's shoulder to now firmly tell him to quiet or leave. The man stands up, angry now and deliberately pushes the civilian down the stairs. The cops just watch this whole scene pan out. What is your response if you were viewing this?

2. Half the civilian's fault. Should have complained to cops (the ones at the scene haven't done anything nor seem to care).

1. The cops did do what they thought were right. The guy was resisting arrest. I would have no problem with this. This said, however, I think cops overly rely on tazers. I have a security guard friend (a ex military otter furry), who can take down a drunk man causing a disturbance without using a tazer, as someone who swong on him found himself on the ground pinned in a second. If a rent-a-cop guard can take a guy twice his size down to the ground without tazer, a cop can do the same just as easily. Cops use tazers way too much as a lazy way out, and sometimes just to shut someone up. If the guy's already subdued or pinned or cooperating (Don't tase me bro!) then tazing is WAY out of line.

2. The cops were in the wrong.. if someone's acting violent or attacks someone, the cops should step in and break it up. If they're just standing there watching, they need to be fired and never do police work again.
