She had been absentmindedly watching the little girl play with her paper doll for a while, but she hadn't gotten involved as most parents didn't really care for strangers to approach, even if the strangers weren't particularly threatening looking. But as soon as the girl came up to her, all bets were off. "Wow, that flies so well! Did you make it yourself?" Was it rude of her to completely ignore the father at the moment? Maybe, but this girl was so cute she couldn't help herself! She gingerly took the little paper man that was offered to her and looked a little closer at it, it really was well-designed. "Wow, that really is so well-made! Where did you learn to make these?" She looked up towards where the father was approaching. She gave him a gentle smile, "it's fine, I'm one of the friendly adults. Plus I love playing with kids. It's like my favorite thing of all time!" Once the wind had picked up a little, she gave the little paper figure a little push to help it go soaring through the air. The wind seemed to be having the most fun, it spun the figure in loop-de-loops and loose corkscrews. Sometimes it would let the figure almost land before shooting it high up into the air once more. Contrary to what one might think, even Dalla was surprised by how well it was flying. She knew about catching a good breeze, but she hadn't thought she was that good. It did eventually land though, fairly close to the man's feet. "Wow, that was quite a flight. A little jealous, actually." She hoped they didn't read more into that statement than a surface comment.

Ooc:Sorry that took so long. Planning on taking an rp hiatus soon to try and get my thoughts in order.
Lìqín nodded her head vigorously as the woman questioned her about her doll. She was really proud of the product she made and the complement only made her smile wider though it dropped as she tried to think, she got no real specific lesson on it, she just seemed to know how. She did know where she got the idea this was possible though "Daddy's arts and craft book." she would finally proclaim.
Jia finally caught up to them to find his daughter interesting with a pregnant woman. He put his hands in his pockets as she assured him she was harmless, and she seemed fairly harmless really given her current state. He sighed and watched her throw it along with his daughters and it did what it was meant to do. Lìqín coildn't take her eyes off it, it hadn't flown that well for her, but she hadn't caught the proper breeze like the woman did. She jumped up and down following it until it landed at her fathers feet where she picked it up and dusted it off "She made him fly really well!"
Jia nodded "Indeed she did little one. You probably can too." he said rubbing her head a bit as the girl began to throw her paper hero to try and catch the breeze like she did though she missed a few times. Jia sighed "How'd you know it was the right breeze?" he asked moving closer to just to make sure his daughter didn't get too far while trying to make it fly.
☁xxxHera chirped happily as her white and black wings fluttered. The sun was high and bright in the sky! The wind was minimal but refreshing. The heat wasn't so bad that being outside was uncomfortable; it was a nice day overall. Beside the parakeet was a blonde woman flying right along side her! Green eyes were wide with excitement as her blonde hair fluttered wildly around her face. Flying was absolutely her favorite activity to do! Other than being in the water and taking pictures of all the ocean dwelling creatures, being in the air with her parakeet was something Averi couldn't resist. There was just something so freeing about being in the air that she couldn't bring herself to hold back. The young woman was considered a free spirit, adventurous even, but she was grounded as well. If there was something that had to be done, she was the person to get it done. Not the procrastinator type this one.
There had been a little bit of apprehension from the blonde about flying around the city, even as she took off from her front door. Apartments weren't exactly the most private of dwellings. However, she needed to help Hera stretch her wings from the long journey to their new home, thus the boldness. Once the bird was sufficiently out of energy she would be back to barely using her abilities like usual. She tried not to rely on them as much as possible. Despite the mutation in her blood, she still considered herself human and would act as such. Although, when she found out about her gifts, it did cause her to question what humanity actually meant to her. In her quest to find out, something that took years, she realized it simply meant being the best that she could. It had nothing to do with her blood, but how she perceived herself. Now that she was learning who she was as a person, this epiphany of hers emboldened the young blonde.
Touching down for a moment to catch her breath, Averi's green eyes spotted a flyer about some events going on around town. "Look Hera!" she cooed excitedly as she snatched one and showed it to the bird hovering beside her. The event at the bar seemed to be like a good place to meet people, plus she could get her drink on! A girl who liked mixing drinks and drinking them would fit right in there. The other one though was for pet owners. With her bird already by her side, it seemed a perfect opportunity for her. Plus, she was sure that Hera wasn't ready to be cooped up in her cage with the kitten constantly trying to eat her. "We should probably go to the one with all the pets," she stated as she looked to the blue bird for confirmation. There was a responsive chirp before Averi giggled and stuffed the flyer into a pocket for safe keeping. Averi hoped that none of the pets would try to eat Hera like Apollo did, as her feet left the ground. Her thin tank rustled around her slim upper body as the wind carried her upwards. Hovering above the street, she took out the flyer to look at where said pet event was being help. "Looks like the park is where we're headed," she mentioned as the paper was once again stuffed into her pocket. Placing a hand against her forehead to see id she could even see the park from where she was, she did notice a clearing with some rather beautiful trees a ways away from wherever she currently was. Giving Hera a light brush against her feathers with her pointer finger, Averi took off towards the park!
She was right! Thank goodness for her strange innate ability to know where she was going. She didn't know where it came from, but she was ever so thankful for it. Looking down at the park, it looked like the event was still being set up but there were already people gathering. "Perfect timing," Averi breathed as she began to lower herself towards the grass. There should be plenty of people to meet here as well, from the turnout that she could see. And the thing hadn't even started yet! Hera gave a loud chirp before dive bombing towards the grass. The blonde gave an excited giggle before following suit. She would have to pull up sooner than the small bird given her size, but she could zoom through the grass and race the bird a few times first!xxx☁

"A pet event?" The sign in the pet store immediately caught Anya's attention. An event in the park for owners and their pets? Anya thought that it might be a good way for her to get out and meet some new friends. She had also seen the sign for the event at the bar, but she refused to step foot inside a bar. That and she didn't even drink. She hasn't touched any form of alcohol since she was turned into a vampire. After buying Lilly's cat food, the blonde went home and made a quick change of clothes before picking her cat up and heading outside with her. The car ride wasn't the best with Lilly howling in the back seat, but once they reached the park, the cat noticeably calmed down and sniffed at the air a little bit. As Anya glanced around the entrance of the park, she didn't notice that a large dog had run away from it's owner and was barreling towards the woman until Lilly let out an angry hiss and jumped out of Anya's arms, scratching the woman's arm up in the process.
"Lilly! Stop!" The vampire cried, not even caring that her arm had a large scratch on it and was dripping a little bit of blood. Seeing the large dog chasing after her precious kitty made the vampire feel sick to her stomach. After all her friends turned on her, Lilly was the only thing Anya had left, if she were hurt in any way it would crush the vampire's heart. Anya turned to take chase after her cat and the dog, but the dog's owner ran up and got in her way. The owner apologized profusely, but Anya was too concerned about her cat so she was a little more cold than she meant to be when pushing past the man and running after the two animals. Sadly, they had disappeared into the bushes and with so many smells in the area thanks to the event, Anya was having trouble picking up on which scent trail to follow.
The dog had chased Lilly a good distance before cornering her near the fountain. Trapped, the cat turned and hissed at the dog, slashing at it with her sharp claws. The dog let out a yelp before backing up. The angry cat would fluff out her fur as she stalked towards the dog, which luckily for Lilly wasn't much of a fighter. The dog would let out a whine before it turned and ran away, the angry cat chasing after it. Fortunately for the dog, it's endurance was greater than the cat's and while it continued to run back towards the crowd of people, the cat was forced to stop and breathed heavily as it flopped over onto it's side. The cat's fluffy tail swayed then smacked against the ground as it just laid there, it's eyes closed.
As Anya ran further away from the event, the vampire heard a whimper before seeing the dog that was chasing her cat run past with it's tail between it's legs. Glaring at the dog as it ran to it's owner, Anya then headed on that direction. "Lilly! Kitty, kitty!" Anya called as she ran towards the area the dog was running from.

☁xxxThe woman and her parakeet raced around the park, earning amazed stares from patrons that were gathered. This was so much fun! Averi even let out an excited squeal to show just how much fun she was having. As if the giant smile on her face wasn't enough of a give away. She was sure to not hit anyone, but the pets were a different story. While most owners were quick to get their pets out of the way, some weren't so lucky. Colliding with a rather big dog, Averi tumbled over the large body and skid along the grass, earning herself a nice grass stained tender spot on her elbow. With a look of annoyance, green eyes cast a glance to the bird fluttering in front of her face. "Don't patronize me," she muttered as if understanding what was being chirped at her. Pushing herself to her knees, Averi brushed loose grass off her shirt and shorts when she noticed a Persian cat lying not far off from her present spot. Tilting her head in confusion, she crawled her way over to the kitty slowly as not to startle it. The thing didn't really seemed bothered by her, perhaps it belonged to someone? Or maybe it was just about to take a cat nap. The pun made Averi chortle to herself in amusement.
Green eyes cast over her shoulder as the voice of someone shouting for a cat caught her attention. Looking back to the white, she picked herself up off the grass and reached for the cat so that it wouldn't run away. "Hey!" she called, hoping the thing wouldn't claw at her. If this was the person's cat, she didn't want it running off. Who knows how long it had been gone already. Risking injury, Averi scooped up the cat into her arms and once again lifted herself off the ground, hovering in place a moment so as not to completely terrify the cat. Beside her, Hera chirped angrily, not liking the cat one bit because of the monster the kitten back home was. "Oh calm down, Hera," she snickered with a bit of a teasing look to the bird. Apollo wasn't a monster, just a hyper kitten. Floating towards the concerned voice, Averi scratched under the cat's chin as she greeted the woman. "Is this your kitty?" she asked, her smile soft.xxx☁

It's been a while since he decided to take a nice day out and walk Spark. It's been a while since Jason did anything at all to be quite honest. Getting used by Lillian genuinely hurt him and he was in a hell of a bad mood for a while afterward. But he couldn't take getting motivational texts every day from Rina anymore, so he decided to get up and get off his lazy a**. And what a day to do so! There was something at a bar nearby, but he's going to stay away from alcohol for a while. It was such a nice day to be out, and there are so many people with their animals out here! That means he can definitely connect with someone over animals! Spark was definitely determined too, at least. He was tugging on his leash every few feet, trying to sniff any animal or person who walked by. Since his master had been a little bit of a hermit for a while, he was itching to get outside and meet others.
Jason brought a backpack full of dog stuff and some of his own things, grabbing a frisbee from it and giving it a short toss. He has to be careful to not hit anyone, or throw it in a direction where his dog could run into something. Spark barked happily and caught it right before it hit the ground and quickly brought it back to his human. It was so nice to be out and active!
As a voice approach, the cat's ears twitched but she made no effort to move. She was too tired and too lazy to care that someone had approached her. That and people usually meant food. When she was picked up, Lilly would open her jewel colored eyes and stared at the girl that was holding her with uninterest. The feline looked over at the bird, but simply flicked her tail in response to it's chirping. The cat clearly wasn't much of a hunter and she only attacked the dog because it had her cornered. Nope, as of right now, she hung limply in the woman's arms. A low rumble would emerge form her chest as her chin was scratched though.
Anya frowned as she looked around. Maybe Lily wasn't over here? The woman was about to turn back when a voice called out. Turning to look, relief washed over the woman's face. "Lilly!" She said happily, jogging the couple feet distancing her and the woman. "There you are princess. That mean doggy didn't hurt you did it." She said as she reached out for the cat. Seeing her mistress, the cat squirmed in the woman's arms and leapt out of them and into Anya's. Letting out a small meow, the cat nuzzled into Anya's chest. Hugging the cat, Anya looked at the woman in front of her. "Oh thank you for finding her!" She said. Other than some dirt on her fur, the cat appeared to be perfectly fine.

☁xxxAveri let go of the cat as she wiggled for freedom. Crossing her legs Indian style, hovering above the grass, she smiled warmly. It was always cute to see an owner and pet cuddling. The cuddles were part of the reason she got a kitten! Hera liked to be in her business, but not so much with the cuddling. Apollo was perfect for that! Most mornings she woke up to a fuzzy butt in her face, but that was part of his charm. If she could keep him under control, she would have let him pounce around outside but he was still too young. He would remain an indoor cat until she was sure he wasn't dumb enough to run into the street or forget where they lived. The bird was an entirely different story. Just like with the one before Hera, she bonded with the parakeet by flying with her. She was lucky that she could do that! Most pet owners were lucky to even get their pets to listen to them.
The winds around them picked up a bit as Averi uncrossed her legs and placed her feet back on solid ground. Once she was safely touching the grass, the air around them returned to normal and Hera perched herself onto the blonde's shoulder. "Don't worry about it!" she replied with a wave of her hand. "I was just lucky to be...Falling in front of her." If she hadn't had run into the big lug of a dog, she never would have found the cat to begin with. Taking a good look at the woman in front of her, Averi couldn't help but wonder how the pale beauty was surviving under the sun. It almost seemed like it was dangerous for her as she was nearly white! "So Lily huh?" she questioned, trying to strike up a conversation. "She kinda reminds me of my kitten at home. Well, in the fluffy department!" Averi laughed, thinking of her fluff ball at home. Reaching up to the bird on her shoulder, a finger ran along her feathers affectionately. "This is Hera. We were just out to stretch our wings when we found out about this event."xxx☁

Desi was all smiles as he entered the park. Ahhh! What a lovely day to be outside! Plus he had seen a poster that there was some sort of event going on? He wasn't positive, but he did see the word pets and if there was going to be a gathering of cute, fluffy, animals then there was no way he was going to miss out on that! He had been lucky in meeting Victor yesterday and he hoped that his luck would continue and he would get the chance to meet another friend today and if he was super duper lucky, perhaps that friend would have a cute puppy or kitty with them! As he passed through the entrance of the park, the male could already hear barking and smiled a little bit. Though, maybe this event wasn't a good idea. Desi already had puppy fever and seeing all the cute animals would only make it worse. He wasn't positive if he was ready for a puppy or not. He's never owned a pet before. His sister had a cat, but her cat was mean and always bit Desi when he tried to pet it.
Huffing softly, the male shook his head and took a look around. This park was very pretty. Nothing like the parks back in the cities he grew up in... then again, some of his foster parents ever really let him leave the house. Pouting a little bit, Desi was soon distracted by a Frisbee flying through the air. Looking at it, his eyes lit up as he saw the beautiful white puppy that chased after it. "Cuuuuute!" He giggled softly to himself. Watching the pup run back to it's owner, Desi tilted his head a little. "Hmm, both of them are cuties." He giggled softly. As he watched the male and puppy, Desi didn't notice that there was a small hole in the ground in front of him. Of course his natural clumsiness took over and he stepped in it. With a loud yelp, the petite male soon found himself face first in the grass.

Izumi would slowly walk through and appreciate the park[ for the natural beauty that it held. He would stop by a nearby flowerbed that looked absolutely demolished and upon closer inspection he would see that many of the flowers were eaten by local insect life, how sad. So Izumi would glance around and make sure that nobody was looking before placing his hand down onto the flower bed and a soft glow would surround the entire flower bed and within moments the flowers would be thriving and gorgeous once more, causing Izumi to smile contently. Before making his way over to a bench and resting on it, single plants were easy for him but an entire bed of flowers like that took a lot out of him.
Spark was super impatient today! Jason guesses it's only natural since he has a lot of pent-up energy from cooped up for a while, but he was seriously restless. As soon as he would get the frisbee back, his pup would already be yards away from him, anticipating his next throw. At least he's grown out of those lazy bones he had when Jason first got him. He took a sip out of his water bottle, it really was hot out here, probably not the best day to wear a denim jacket, but hey, he liked how it looked. His dog came back after missing a catch, not letting the frisbee out of mouth no matter how much Jason tugged on it. He's gotten a lot stronger! Puppies grow up so fast! Speaking of growing, he could probably use a bigger collar, it wasn't choking him but it was rather snug on him. "Thanks for putting up with me," Jason said as he gave Spark a vigorous scratch behind the ears, causing the frisbee to fall out of his mouth as he barked happily in response. He hasn't paid as much attention as he should to his loyal pet for something that wasn't his fault and that made his owner feel bad. Spark certainly didn't get him drunk and cause him to sleep with someone he barely knew and he definitely didn't use him emotionally... Ugh, let's not get back into that mood again! Enjoy the sun, the fresh air, and all the animals!
Spark had just made another successful catch when he stopped at a person who was face-first on the ground. He dropped the frisbee and tilted his head in confusion in front of them. His owner caught up with him once he noticed and crouched down to them, "You took a bit of a fall, are you hurt?" Aren't they hot? It's definitely 80 degrees out here and they're in a sweater! Nevertheless, he offered his hand in case they needed help getting up and probably had a bandaid if one was needed.
Anya looked at the blonde in front of her and tilted her head to the side a little bit. Falling? The vampire had certainly noticed that the girl in front of her was floating, but didn't say anything about it as it wasn't too surprising to her. After being turned, Anya spent some time in a rehab center for non humans as she came to terms with being a vampire and while there she met many other types of non humans. Not that she was very friendly with any of them. Blinking as she heard the girl's voice, Anya looked up at her and smiled softly. "Yeah." She said before tilting her head a little. "Oh? You have a kitty too?" She said, a smile appearing on her face. She loved cats, they were just so cute and soft! Anya also noticed the bird and smiled. "She's beautiful. Such a pretty blue." She commented before nodding her head. "Yeah, I saw the paper at the pet store. I figured that this would be a good place to meet some new people."

Desi laid there on the ground for a little while, giving a small groan. He couldn't believe he had just fallen on his face like that! Well... actually... he could... but it was still embarrassing! What if somebody saw! Looking up, the male's face instantly went red when he saw the cute male from just moments ago was now right in front of him. "Y-Yes! I'm fine! I trip often." He said as he pushed himself up onto his knees. Glancing himself over quickly, the male smiled at the stranger. "See! No life threatening injuries." He said with a small chuckle. He did have a bit of dirt on his knees though. Noticing the blonde's outstretched hand, the petite male gladly accepted it and pulled himself up. Once stable on his feet, Desi released the male's hand and brushed the dirt off as best he could. Huffing softly as he realized the dirt wasn't going to fully come off, the male gave up. "Thanks for the help though." He said, a cheerful smile on his face while reaching his hand out. "I'm Desi! It's nice to meet you.... Your puppy is really cute." Desi was often labeled as being overexcited or... annoying, as most people put it, but he himself liked to think of it as simply being friendly.
