I just realized today how much Christians infuriate me. They talk on and on about God and how wonderful he is and I sit there and listen to it and I think "Do you have ANY idea how completely ignorant you sound? You should be ashamed of yourselves."

...that's weird. Not really sure if I want to know how this conditioned response came to be.

RAWR!!!

I was typing this 2 page long paper, and I almost had 1 page done and over with.

And then the computer shut off spontaneously.

Now, the computers erase themselves when they shut off. So since I don't have portable storage with me and was just planning on emailing the paper to myself, the paper was gone. Along with an hour's work.

Seems there's a virus in the system. What I wouldn't give to stab the virus maker in the neck with a sharpened pencil, right in both carotid arteries, so he bleeds to death in a few minutes.

The Bunny
My boyfriend and I have differing opinions on cybering in our relationship. I don't think it's respectful of me for him to cyber with the furs on furnet.org. Apparently it's just a sexual release and an erotic experience, much like watching porn or reading erotic literature. What bothers me is that it's interactive porn or interactive erotic literature. This is someone else stimulating MY boyfriend. It doesn't matter if they're on the other side of the planet, they're still thinking about doing said things to him, and he's thinking about doing those things to them. It's not "impure" it's not "wrong." It's something single people do, it's something people in long distance relationships do with each other. Now that he has me, he's agreed to not do it, but I feel bad for placing the restraint on him. Placing this restraint on him has also affected our sex life.

Why must this be so difficult?

I wonder if you're in a long distance relationship with your boyfriend or not.

I agree to a certain extent.
I'm too cheap to have cable, so if I don't want to sit in a dead silent house, every morning at nine o'clock sharp I get to set through an hour of religious programming.
Some of it's okay. They have some decent interviews that stray away from religion a bit, and it's kind of funny to hear views on things from so and so religion.

The one that gets me though is they keep seeming to imply that if you don't have god in your life, you're clearly not happy, and if you think you are you're fooling yourself.

I laughed hard when they sold e-bibles though.

On the plus side, things are going great for me right now. I'm so excited. Thanks to a post in this guild I have a date on Sunday with pretty decent guy.
Apparently he's looking forward to it too. x3
We've been talking about it all week.

I'm pretty sure it was thanks to Psycho Lee, so I totally owe you one.

See, there I go, hooking up other people because they're so repulsed by me that they go running into someone else's arms. razz I should pat myself on the back for repelling women so strongly.

Ugh, just had an appointment with a teacher this morning. I'm hyped up on caffeine and waiting for something on campus I'm doing this afternoon. The problem is none of you ******** are awake or online this early in the morning.

i miss the good old says when i could play all day.

infact i just got back in touch with an old next door neighbor i had when i was in elementary school. She and her brother moved out when i was 10 and i dont think i have heard from them since. Amazingly they live close, like freaky close to me. same city. im excited to see her again but im worried that im going to jump back into a friendship with them only to see things have changed and they are not what i expected.

the time i spent with this family ranks as the best memories in my life. so expectations are high. disappointment is innevidable. reguardless i think this is a great time for me. im very very excited.

Are the books and/or movie not that good? Or is it just something all the teen girls get all creepy and screamy over so it's weird? gonk

Or is it because the vampires got a little crazy with the glitter glue? xd

Why does this infuriate you?

I mean, should I become angry when someone speaks to me of the spiritual merits of becoming a vegan? Or, for that matter, when someone tries to explain to me why I should become a Christian?

Probably not. I mean, I don't share their belief system, so I'm not going to believe the same things they do. Obvious. But I can't say that there are no spiritual benefits to being a vegan, any more than I can say the Christian version of the Divine is not what's out there.

I mean, you probably sound ignorant and/or insane to the same people you're complaining about when you discuss what gives you your spiritual jollies.

There's nothing inherently stupid or ignorant about believing that a deity or deities exist(s), or even wanting to live the way the prophets or avatars of the Divine have allegedly advised. I honestly don't see your problem here.

Mind you, I live with two Catholics, both of whom enjoy both a serious religious faith and copious amounts of premarital sex - one with his boyfriend (also a Catholic, and a furry), the other with a girlfriend I haven't met. But I know they have lots of sex because, uh, the walls are pretty thin.
