Personality:
Flik is a knight in shining armor personality type. If there's a noble cause, he's right there fighting for it, if there's someone in need, he's right there helping them. He has a good heart and can come off as a bit of an over-bearing ham at times- but he tends to keep most people at arm's length. When he was a younger lion, freshly into his mane, he served under a bold lioness leading a rebellion against an oppressive tyrant sweeping through the lands, over-throwing smaller prides and clans. Flik fell in love with her and defended both her and her cause. So when she was murdered attempting to defend a small cub- Flik was devastated. He's never forgiven himself for his failure to defend her and to this day he swears by her name.
The only other lion he's allowed to get close to him was Viktor- though there are times when he wonders just why that is. Viktor, a loud, brash lion with the build of a boulder and a voice like thunder served alongside him in the war following the rebellion. He and Viktor alone held off an enemy onslaught in order to buy their companions the time required to retreat. For many years after that, the two were assumed to have been killed in action. When they re-emerged, it was at the beginning of yet another war.
Flik and Vitkor bump shoulders constantly but they're never apart. Brothers-in-arms and true friends, they're always finding some kind of conflict to settle.
Plots?
- Flik will be joining the Chokwe troupe- so please no pride offers!
- I want Flik to have a few cubs here and there. He's still loyal to the memory of his first mate and may never actually settle down, but he's the type to get wrapped up with females here and there.
