Aden nor Mareep were appreciative of the assault to their ears. He was quick to put his hands to his ears, trying to muffle the sounds if only slightly. Mareep, lacking this luxury, had braced herself. She couldn't really concentrate because of it, and stumbled when she went to move back.
Trying to issue a command to her was unlikely to be a good idea. Geodude, on the other hand, wondered what it was all about. It was heard to be sure, but it wasn't all that bad... maybe it just wasn't getting the full brunt of it. Still, it left some ideas, especially with what this tunnel had to offer.
"Geodude, try to shut one of them up, will ya!? Rock Throw!" He called over the incessant sounds, prompting the Pokemon to find the closest rock possible and hurl it at one of the Zubat. From there, Aden could've sworn he had heard something that amounted to "Shut up!".

It...wasn't getting up from that one. The Zubat left standing then started fluttering about once again, coming down to bite the Geodude...which not only it left a foul taste in its mouth...it...wasn't kosher to its teeth either.

"There goes one- eugh!" Even Aden found himself cringing at that effort. Sure, he wasn't the one behind it, but seeing that made his teeth hurt a little. "That looked like it hurt the Zubat more than Geodude..." Truth be told, he felt a little bad continuing any assault on this.
But then, it had tried to make a meal out of both his Pokemon. As far as he was concerned, it was better to take it out like the other one. "Mareep, are you alright?" He asked, seeing his Mareep try to recover. Her ears were still ringing from the Supersonic.
He tried to do something, though. "Okay... Mareep, get on Geodude."
Both of his Pokemon looked at him funny. "Just trust me on this." He said, and lifted Mareep to put on top of Geodude. Neither seemed to be hindered, but still didn't see what this was about.
"Okay. Mareep, I want you to build up what electricity you can and hold on. It shouldn't do much to Geodude." Aden started, noticing how things went earlier. "Geodude, you rush on at the Zubat while she's doing that. You'll be fine."
Nodding, he stepped back. "Now, go!" The two went on their assault, with Mareep charging up and Geodude... carrying. Both still didn't really understand this.

Don't get me wrong, I heard of not only impratical, but just down right bizarre battle tactics, rather it be a league sanctioned battle or a Pokemon Contest battle, but uh...this was just. Just. Well...I don't know what the hell to call it. I was with the Geodude and Mareep on this one, even I didn't get the point of this one. The Zubat fluttered about, weaving a bit in the air, trying to make sure there was no funny stuff played. All it could tell at the moment was that the Geodude was apparently carrying the Mareep. Which now that the Mareep was in the air, it may or may not be good. The Zubat flapped its wings a bit hard, unleashing an Air Cutter upon the two Pokemon, hoping to throw things out of whack.

"Now, Geodude! Throw Mareep!" Aden called as Zubat went to attack. Geodude was hit soon after he hurled Mareep into the air, but this wasn't what he had in mind. What he did was while his sheep was in the air, startled as anything.
"Mareep, go! Thundershock!" She recovered enough to fire her attack at the Zubat, falling back to the ground.

I stared in confusion as the Mareep went flailing into the air. When the bolt struck the Zubat, it too fell to the ground, twitching a bit. Well, Aden won the fight...I guess. "Uh...." I tilted my head. "Allllllrighty then." Part of me wondered if Aden should probably avoid the double battles from here on.

"Better than I thought... sorry for that, but thanks. Return-" Aden looked at Geodude, then Mareep, then Blizzard... and noticed their stares. "...What?"

Ryan smirked. That was an inventive way of doing things to say the least. Ryan sighs and waits to move on.

"Um. I..." I looked around then looked back at Aden. "...uh...am left to wonder. Was that. Really. Necessary?" I asked. I was a bit in a loss for words from what I just saw.

"Uh... probably not." Now that Aden thought about it, the course of action was a bit much. Or, at least too unconventional. "Sorry, Blizz. Mareep and Geodude too."

"Yea, well, word of advice. When battling, yea, you may have to go on a bit on the impractical side, especially in a double battle at times, keep in mind what your Pokemon is having to go through in the process. I'm not trying to chastise you or anything, but just keep it in mind, alright?" I said. "Anyways, come on." I said, starting off back down the cavern.

RC nods to Gardevoir, and the two start to follow Blizz once more. The sooner they got to Azalea, the better.

"Yeah, sorry... here, return." Aden didn't want to risk making any matters worse, so letting both of them rest a bit felt like a good idea. He was quick to resume his following, and made a mental note to be a bit less crazy in his tactics.

Sure enough, without too much more of a hitch, we three would soon arrive at the exit. Sure, we weren't in Azalea yet, but at the very least, we made it out of this god forsaken cave. Good grief. I took a deep breath, then rubbed my eyes, then realized something. It was starting to get into the evening hours now. Apparently we spent longer trying to get through this cave than I realized. Stupid poachers holding us up.
"Not too far now." I said to them.

Just need to pass the Slowpoke Well and then we are into town." he says.
