Not "bashing". Just people treating me like I'm inferior because I'm a couple years younger, regardless of my intelligence.

I was trying to talk with my friend about voting. We both had already and voted the same way, so it wasn't "who are you going to vote for?". We were trying to discuss the amendment dealing with slots (here in MD). I voted against, she voted for. After asking me why, instead of letting me explain my reasoning, she just jumps on me and tells me that I'm wrong. Period. And then just signed off AIM.
I wouldn't automatically assume this, but she has a tendency to talk down to me frequently and treat me like a child, and she's admitted to that. It's really begun to get on my last nerve recently.

Yeah... but if I know her, she'll be back in a few hours to apologize for her behavior. We'll see w hat kind of mood I'm in then. P:
I just don't get it because she knows what it's like to be treated that way- and hates it. Her mom pulls that s**t on her all the time, especially with this election. She's the "you're only voting Obama because you're a stupid teen and he's younger" type. -_-;

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. How about I'm voting for Obama because I'm legally considered an adult and I think he can run the country better.
No. That would be giving us way too much credit. >_<

I just got back from my job interview. It went really well, the guy who interviewed me even told me he liked me, gave me his card, and said he would email me tonight. He also told me to come in next week so he can show me how the place works. :]
It looks easy as well. He said I'll just be running the little shop where they sell one of a kind designer merch, using myspace to promote the shop, and helping out with some graphic design :]

It gets better. She was all for Obama before Palin came into the picture. YES. ONE OF THOSE, TOO. Suddenly she decided that she didn't like Obama's connection to the church, didn't trust anyone "not white" in the white house, and -suddenly- doesn't agree with any of his plans.
And besides that, I know for a fact that she did a lot of research before voting- we both did together. And she still gets it rubbed in her face. Which is why it baffles me that she treats others the same.
