"He hasn't, and he has no intentions on doing so for that matter. While having a Scyther evolve to Scizor is pretty viable in its own right, leaving Scyther be is also just as viable. What you don't get in attack power like Scizor you make up for in sheer speed." I said to him. "Anyways..." I made my way inside the Pokemon Center. "Go on ahead and give your Pokeballs to the nurse at the counter, Aden, then we'll talk."

"Uh... right..." Already, Aden had a feeling things were going to get rough. Only, this time it sounded like a speed thing. A little easier to manage, he thought, but something to watch out for. He went ahead and gave the five Pokeballs over, stepping back after he was done.

With a nod, the nurse at the counter took the Pokeballs and went off with them to give them a routine check up. With that, I looked over towards Ryan and Aden. "So what will it be?" I asked them. "Go to the gym afterwards, or what?"

"There's not much else we could really go, that I know of. Except for that well, or wherever Kurt's place is, right?" Aden asked. The way he saw it, his Pokemon should be good for a fight or two. "Unless there's no apprentices, fighting Bugsy himself will probably have to wait for tomorrow at the earliest."

"Bugsy doesn't have any, unless he gotten himself a potential one, but even so, a apprentice has to at least be certified to work the gym for at least a year before he can start battling, so you'll be fighting him first thing." I told him.

Suddenly, Aden felt a little nervous. Bugsy was the only one to go against? This... was going to be rough. He looked a little unsure now, but he knew he couldn't really back down. "I'm wondering if maybe I should get some more training in now." He spoke up.

"That in itself would take a while and put your Pokemon in a ringer, at least having a battle against Me or Ryan." I said to him, looking back at Ryan as I did so. "Sure I could try to use my more inexperienced ones like say Riolu or Golduck, but eh." I shrugged. "Though come to think on it..." I stopped myself. Between here and Azalea, Aden hadn't fought too much, and more than anything he went mostly fisticuffs today on the ship. He doesn't have too much going for him.

"I know. Same if I spent the rest of the day out in the well and fighting anything that showed up." Aden said. "That mess back in the tunnel threw us for more of a loop than I thought."

"Well, your gonna have to decide on this, Aden. Either grind like hell in the Slowpoke Well, or see if your pokemon have what it takes to bring down Bugsy." Ryan says. it was simple as that.
