Lykas' eyes grew to the size of saucers at Sub's response. "You're kidding, right?" He really hoped not. "I mean...what are the odds that someone these days could even get their hands on such a thing? They should all be gone now, shouldn't they?" If this was true, he really needed to look into finding one of those things. Such an artifact would definitely make him stronger, that much was certain.

"I mean...what are the odds that someone these days could even get their hands on such a thing? They should all be gone now, shouldn't they?" If this was true, he really needed to look into finding one of those things. Such an artifact would definitely make him stronger, that much was certain. "Not kidding." He said folding his arms. "Granted, not even I know where you might find one, Miles told me more often than not the artifact finds the user. Though..." He said glancing at Lykas for a moment, thinking to himself as he did. "There might be someone who could help you..."

Lykas's elation quickly changed to despair when Sub admitted he didn't know where to find such an artifact. "I figured as much. I shouldn't have gotten my hopes-huh?" He stopped mid sentence as sub's last words sank in. "Someone....who could help?" That was a plus. "Who? How?" Once again, his mind was racing with the possibilities.

Requiem of Whyspers Lykas's elation quickly changed to despair when Sub admitted he didn't know where to find such an artifact. "I figured as much. I shouldn't have gotten my hopes-huh?" He stopped mid sentence as sub's last words sank in. "Someone....who could help?" That was a plus. "Who? How?" Once again, his mind was racing with the possibilities. "His name is Varuna I believe." Sub said taking out his SNAG and tapping away on its touch screen. "Said to be an extremely powerful Vaporeon hybrid that travels the seas. Furthermore said to be the descendant of an ancient race of water artifact users, surely he would know something." And with that Sub rose up from the couch and pocketed his SNAG. "I just sent something to you, check your SNAG. Later Lykas." He smiled with a wave and exited the HQ.

Lykas waved goodbye to Sub and pulled out his SNAG, looking what had been sent to him. "Hmm...I'll definitely have to look into this sometime, but I'm not authorized to take this mission yet...." He thought aloud, making sure to save the mission profile to his SNAG's memory so he could look it up later.
"Now I have to prove I'm enough of an asset to the team to get authorization..." He decided. "And that means it's time I started taking on more missions instead of just taking up space and being here to help when psychos attack." At least he now had a direction. And a new conviction.

Kashi closed the door then sat on his bed.
~Train my Pokémon, do a mission...~ He thought. ~Meh. I guess I'll train them, then.~
Kashi walked to the training area Sub showed him earlier. ~It can change into almost any terrain,~ Kashi remembered Sub saying. ~How do I change it, though? And how do Squirtle and Mankey train on it? I don't see anything for them to battle.~

Sub sits at his desk in his office typing away at his computer as a file rests right beside him, closed with a giant green 'Pass' freshly stamped onto the cover of the folder its self. He was now finishing typing up a message, it wasn't long before he finished and hit send. Once done he took the folder and got up to go file it in his filing cabinet, soon Ryan would be receiving a message on his SNAG. Sub Ryan, I just finished reading over your mission report concerning your first Water Master Mission, you did very well it seems. You and your Kingdra were obviously impressive if your bond, and your own determination, was enough to win over Varuna. Know this though, he will not be an easy teacher and from here on out the challenges you shall face will be that much harder, you have barely scrapped the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. Any who, you have passed your first Master Mission. The Azure Bell you retrieved is one of your rewards, also from me you will find a box waiting for you in the main area of HQ, marked for you obviously. Inside you will find one Water Stone, and three Net Balls. Furthermore, you are now allowed to take the next Water Master Mission, but like I said, the next one will be that much harder and will be your first true test, I wish you the best of luck.

There are also dummies and holograms to train against, all accessible via the console's features. (( You made them for the others that have them, too? razz )) "Ooh!" Kashi ran over to a computer console. "Is this it?" He pressed a button, then flinched- thinking it was something he wasn't supposed to touch. After a few seconds, he opened his eyes to see the room change into a desert-terrain. "Hmm..." Kashi pushed another button and the room changed to an icy terrain. Then to a forest. Then to a rocky terrain. Then he changed it back to a desert. Kashi figured Squirtle would be best in water, so he decided to train Squirtle in the opposite of water- a dry desert. (( I was gonna make this post longer, but I don't have any time. :/ ))

Lykas sat at HQ, wondering what everyone else was doing today. After that issue at the Celestial Tower, he felt certain that everyone must be on edge, to some degree. To think that people were watching them so closely. And especially to think that someone could have such an interest in Sol. What made him so special?

Sub exited his office from the second floor of HQ, Nevermore on his head and Auguste, his Krokorok at his side. "Thanks for pointing this out to my Auguste, you make a pretty good detective." Sub said to the sand crocodile as the Pokemon held his own arms behind his back and nodded as if agreeing with Sub. "Rok rok..." He mumbled in a smug manner, his trainer just chuckled at him, while Nevermore glared at him with one eye open and huffed. What was it that the Pokemon pointed out? Who knows, it was something to do with what was in the folder that Sub was carrying as he and his two Pokemon walked down the stairs into the main area of HQ.

Lykas was in his room with a brush, working on his hair. He'd recently gotten out of the shower and was fixing his hair into it's usual style. Unfortunately, that meant at least an hour of brushing and drying, otherwise he'd been wearing clothes with a wet streak down the back.
Chinami the Dewott was out of her Pokeball and was looking around the building. "Dew ott." She grumbled as she found herself back in the lobby. This was the third time she'd gotten turned around. "Luxray." The samurai otter turned around to find Sphynx behind her, sitting up and giving her a smug look. "Lux lux luxray ray lux ray." "Dew dewott dew ott dew dew." The two walked together, chatting about nothing in particular.

As Sub walked through the main area with his Pokemon he noticed two Pokemon of opposing types, a Luxray and Dewott, talking to each other and cocked an eyebrow. "Well at least they aren't fighting." He shrugged. The trainer then made his way towards the staircase, the ones that leads to the medlab but that's not where he was going.

Leaf walked in and looked around "umm...can somebody help me? I'm the new recruit..." Leaf looked at the strange scenery she then looked at her tiny charmander and nidoran who both looked amazed.
