Hobbes: *goes on to explain it to the Digimon* Well, the humans have this thing called politics where one human tries to get appointed as the head of a certain area. It's kind of like a ruler, but they don't have as many privilages and some of them are complete asses. Anywho, the candidates for the next election for either President (that's where they're head of the entire country) or Governor (where they're the head of a state) are coming to our island to campaign for themselves. You see, without us saying who we want to elect, or voting, no one can get to the special position. You see?
