The biggest problem is that intelligent design is just one theory and IDer's refuse to accept alternative theories. (This is using their extremely loose use of the term theory.)

For one, why does the designer have to be intelligent? The designer could have been dumb as a doorknob. Or they could have never been designing and instead just threw things together and randomly the universe appeared!

Where are the proponents for drunken designer? Or the toddler designer? I demand an answer from them for why can't we teach about multiple designers! Maybe even government designers! Given all the problems we face on a daily basis because of badly designed environments, I say there may have even been an evil designer involved! Or perhaps a committee!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. XP

(Mostly because if a guild this big has activity issues, imagine how bad some random forum or guild somewhere else may be.)

If you see any posts with blatant spam advertising just pm me or one of the other AFG mods and we will lock it. I thought it was common knowledge that is rude to spam advertise in other guilds but I guess not. Going to add to our AFG rules specifying it is not to be done.

You seem to have forgotten where you are then. Also, this guild has been getting overrun with a variety of dipsticks lately, which only increases problems.

Awww, but Lee, everyone knows Obama is a liberal, conservative, commie, fascist, socialist, anarchist, rebel, dictator, militarist, pacifist, theocratic, messiah, anti-Christ, corporate loving, hippie, tree hugger. You name it, he's it. Whether positive or negative or if both terms are opposite of each other, he's it. Similar to Visa, he's everything you want him to be.

I just find it funny how everyone labels whatever they feel like. I don't care much for him as a president, but I'm not going to go throwing around words randomly because of that. neutral

Lawls I feel insightful for once. My cousin has just found out she is pregnant. Over Easter I was totally getting those sort vibes off her. I didn't want to come out and directly ask though so I brought it up asking if she was going to try one more time for a girl (she has two boys who were both planned).

She told me not sure and we ended up in a long convo about her telling me a bunch of stories of other friends she had who had two boys and tried for a third hoping for a girl and ended up with another boy instead. She told me however she definitely wasn't planning on trying anytime soon... whelp turns out as I suspected at the time she was already preggors she just didn't know it yet.

Even though it was unexpected still considered a blessing and happy news since she has a good support unit and husband. Fingers, toes and claws crossed for her she gets her little girl this go around. heart

Ok...Now I'm starting to wonder why the hell Macs are the standard for graphic design, animation, and whatnot...

One of my classes this quarter, Digital Illustration, has me sitting in front of a Mac for four hours a day. We'll every Tuesday, at any rate X3. So, in addition to getting to learn Adobe Illustrator CS4, I'm learning the Mac OS at the same time, mostly by fiddling around with it until it does what I want.

I mean, seriously, who the hell would want a one button mouse? Who would want to have to double click anything on the desktop, or click on something, and wait a few seconds before clicking it again to rename a folder? I know I don't...Give me my single click and right click any day.

Granted, this may just be me trying to get used to a Mac after using a PC all my life so far. So, I guess only time will tell if I end up liking them.

lulz. I heard of a place called Y!Gallery mentioned on FA. Because of the name, I thought it was something that Yahoo owned, because Y! is a symbol used by Yahoo and possibly copyrighted by them. Instead, it's a yaoi image/art board kinda like FA/DA.

I should tell yahoo about the site and have them get a lawsuit for stealing Yahoo's trademarked name... twisted
