Jungle Boots, Just Google it. It's faster. Gotta sign up to see the porn. Be warned though, vast majority isn't that good. Aside from that, an even larger majority of it is femmy bois (or in a lot of cases, slightly underage looking boys). Not a lot of bara or average looking guys. Psycho Lee I should tell yahoo about the site and have them get a lawsuit for stealing Yahoo's trademarked name... twisted They're not called "Yahoo!Gallery", they're "Y!Gallery". Not only that, but the Y stands for Yaoi.... Plus, it would be hard to prove they're infringing the name... Davin_Nightwind Ok...Now I'm starting to wonder why the hell Macs are the standard for graphic design, animation, and whatnot... One of my classes this quarter, Digital Illustration, has me sitting in front of a Mac for four hours a day. We'll every Tuesday, at any rate X3. So, in addition to getting to learn Adobe Illustrator CS4, I'm learning the Mac OS at the same time, mostly by fiddling around with it until it does what I want. I mean, seriously, who the hell would want a one button mouse? Who would want to have to double click anything on the desktop, or click on something, and wait a few seconds before clicking it again to rename a folder? I know I don't...Give me my single click and right click any day. Granted, this may just be me trying to get used to a Mac after using a PC all my life so far. So, I guess only time will tell if I end up liking them. Exact same complaints here. I still don't like them and I've had to use them for many classes over roughly a year. About the single button mice. I suspect there is a right click function hidden (Why even bother if you're going to hide it from the user?!) in the mouse. It will recognize a right click, but for me most of the time it registers as a left click and in some cases the mice are just old so that's all that works. That's why I suspect scrolling is broken on most of the computers I use... (And why does it have to be this tiny little ball that is way too sensitive? Just put a real damn roller button on it like a normal computer company! You're not being ergonomic so stop pretending! >:[ )It gets worse when you're trying to use shortcut keys though... There are TWO delete keys on Mac computers. (They're supposed to be more user friendly? How is that even logical?!) Try the other if one doesn't work....Usually it's not what would be the PC's delete key. Also, the most incredibly annoying "feature" so far are the pop up menus when the mouse hovers over parts of the screen. This basically treats those parts of the screen as "useless blank space", because if anything is there you have to fight with the damn UI to click what you want instead of the fricken menu. (Windows 3.1 up to XP [And I think Vista] don't do this for good reason!) Not only that, but it gets extremely frustrating when you're trying to work on something and your workspace shrinks down and is deselected while other behind your work space are shown. It could be useful for finding hidden away open windows, but the problem is that it usually doesn't want to work properly when you're actually needing it. Oh no, instead it interrupts your work 20 times even though you've clicked back on to your work space each time! Not only that, but sometimes closing out all those other windows doesn't stop it from doing it again! mad The one thing I've learned from using Macs so far is that macs are inefficient and often illogically designed. stressed

That keyboard's rather migraine inducing...So are the mice, now that I think about it. Seriously, what the hell is up with that little ball, anyway? You can get the same functionality with a mouse that has a tilting scroll wheel, and a lot more responsive, too. And yeah...The whole desktop/minimize thing is just a bit whack...I can't even remember how many times I thought I closed down Illustrator by mistake, only to have it still up in the background without knowing it O_o

Davin_Nightwind Ok...Now I'm starting to wonder why the hell Macs are the standard for graphic design, animation, and whatnot... They pretty much bought their way in. They have all sorts of special deals and giveaways with schools and stuff, which is why for so many schools Mac have become the standard computer.

You know what's really fun? Having a computer-illiterate person chatting at you about how Macs are so great because they just work, plus they can't get viruses!* This is especially amusing if they say it while sitting next to as you fix their goddamn Mac for them.
*Actually, Macs are easier to compromise than Windows machines. They're generally a less popular target, but the gap is closing these days.
EDIT: Also, "ERROR: An unknown error has occurred" has to be just about the most AWESOME error message I've ever seen. Repeatedly.

Shakeidas *Actually, Macs are easier to compromise than Windows machines. They're generally a less popular target, but the gap is closing these days. Plus, the false sense of security of "mac's never getting hacked or having a virus" only makes them more of a target. It's not because someone will try to prove something, so much as all that valuable personal information being stored on them would be easily compromised and many IDs could be stolen. Krissim Klaw They pretty much bought their way in. They have all sorts of special deals and giveaways with schools and stuff, which is why for so many schools Mac have become the standard computer. That's what my dad told me when I had a similar complaint. They targeted high schools to get people used to them and sticking with them. If they hadn't done that, I doubt many people would have gone over to macs in the first place. Back then, they were truly overpriced PCs. (Being overpriced PCs only seems to have recently changed to a small degree...emphasis on recent.)

I've been trying to get more active in the FurAffinity forums, and I have noticed a huge debate and flamefest over the UK's recent ban of any art that depicts a minor in a sexual situation, which would include cub porn. Every thread that began with rational debate over at FAF has eventually led down to name-calling and flaming and trolling, with the cub porn artists screaming "free speech" and the trolls with the pitchforks and torches saying that cub porn artists are kiddy diddlers and *****, disregarding whether or not the artists have actually considered, or attempted to rape a child. Contrast this to the anime community. Just recently, a guy named Christopher Handley was convicted of possession of lolicon. Interestingly enough, the manga/anime community was supportive and defended Handley, spewing anti-government sentiment. Interestingly enough, the anime/manga community is also vocally opposed to the UK ban as well. It's interesting to note that Handley was convicted under US law #1466a, an anti-obscenity law, which bases whether or not something is obscene on whether the community deems it obscene. So if I went down to Alabama or Texas with my gay a** furry porn, I could be arrested for being an abomination upon Jesus? Hallelujah! Technically, according to that law Furry cub porn should be illegal as well, in the USA, so I don't even know why FA is debating it. But what blows my mind is the fact that you have the anime/manga community defending lolicon and shotacon, and then you have the furry community picking up pitchforks and torches, ready to start mob riots, against cub porn. Ok, explain to me the difference between lolicon and cub porn, besides the latter having animal traits? And explain to me why I shouldn't consider the entire furry community a bunch of ******** hypocrites, for considering cub porn obscene while they look at images of animal people having sex, as well as extreme fetishes of vore and scat and torture? I would love to debate this in a mature manner over at FAF but it appears that most of the furry community is anything but mature, and anything but a bunch of idiots that will pick up their pitchforks to vilify someone else to make them look better. I personally have changed my opinion VASTLY on loli/shotacon and cub porn. I was highly against it years back, and I'm sure a few of you remember this. I missed the unbanning/rebanning/unbanning of it because I didn't have internet at the time, but when I found out about it, I took up arms on an anti-cub side.
However, things have turned around. I found out my b/f of 6 years has an interest in lolicon, and I know he would never harm anyone IRL. It even saddens him that I made a lolifur character with a traumatized past revolving around real psychiatric problems that real children live with.
In short, my own opinion has changed because someone I care about has an interest, but does differentiate between fantasy and reality and would never act out upon the fantasy. So I must open my mind to the fact that this could be true of anyone else.

Mortella ... where can i find this porn..... and all hail Linux worship the penguin! Mort wants loli/shota porn? ;_; Every time I leave the gaming club, I always pass by this classroom where the students clap every 5-30 seconds. You can hear it all the way to the other side of the building: "Applause.... silence..... applause.... silence.... applause... silence... applause.. silence. It's like ******** Applause 101 or something. "How to become an expert at different types of applause"

Psycho Lee It's like ******** Applause 101 or something. "How to become an expert at different types of applause" Could be a speech/public speaking class. I had one of those types of classes. Usually people had to applaud after each speech, but there weren't that many. .... Maybe they're just having some sort of student campaign or a really popular guest speaker? confused

I don't think freedom of speech/expression of art should be infringed upon and laws should be made prohibiting such art, that being said I have no problem with art sites themselves deciding they might want to band certain content. One of the reasons I no longer actively keep my gallery on FA is because of all the erotic art and stuff and I don't want to scare off potential costumers who might be on the more conservative side.

While donating blood today I remembered the other reason me and Xale argued which may have caused him to dislike or distrust me. I couldn't remember why he had such a dislike of me which led to us splitting ways until now...
The Red Cross has a ban on gay donations. I believe the thinking is that gays are more likely to have HIV, thus it's not worth the risk. And while it's true that gays amount to a very tiny portion of the population, I think it's kinda rude and prejudice to exclude gays, to assume that gays are walking HIV incubators.
It was right after donating that Xale mentioned he was getting tested for HIV. And I told him "Once you find out you're negative you can stick it to the Red Cross and tell them to go blow themselves."
Which for some reason got him really pissed. He readily defended the Red Cross, saying that gays do get HIV very very easily and RC is justified in their ban, and that he knows this s**t because he's an expert. I'm not sure how he's an expert, because maybe he volunteered for the RC? Volunteering does not make you an expert on blood donations or HIV or statistics on HIV in the gay community... I didn't see him with a doctor's license.
But he called me a troll and an a** and said I was trying to start drama all because I disagreed with him, felt the RC was being discriminatory, and felt that gays should have some right to donate blood.
But yea, I donated blood anyway.
