Official Rules for both Members AND Crew!

GUIDELINES FOR ALL PEOPLE IN THE GUILD:

- Follow all gaia ToS. This includes selling of pokemon for gaia gold. It's technically against gaia rules, so do it outside of the guild.

- Place topics in the right subforum! We have many wonderful subforums from the wallets of many generous guild members. Please, I'm getting sick of seeing threads for a trade or a battle in the main forum. Place them in the wifi trading and battling thread.

- Do not use too much offensive language. Dropping a few F bombs here and there is fine, but I don't want to see too much. Also, do not use such language directly at another member (ex. **** off and die, **** you)

- Do not use any racial/sexual slurs as an insult. Calling someone a racial slur (n****r, w*****k, etc.) is a major offense, as is calling someone gay or a homo.

- Do not advertise. This includes other guilds, other things on gaia, off-sites, and ESPECIALLY anything that is non-pokemon related.

- Please don't intentionally page-stretch too much.

- Do not be a total flaming troll. There's a difference between poking fun at someone for being a n00b/giving criticism, and being a plain out jerk. If I feel that you are being a jerk, I will warn you. Also, crew, if you see some trolling, please contact me to deal with it.


The first few offenses will result in warning. If you keep on breaking them, a potential punishment (bannage from guild events, or even membership suspesion for a week or longer) may be issued.



If you place something in the wrong subforum, you get a strike. After 3 strikes, a warning.

Policies for Crew:


- Whenever you relocate a thread, PM the thread owner and tell why.

- If you must lock a thread, lock it, then move it into the locked threads here subforum. You are NOT to delete any threads. I will sort out the locked threads. You must also post before locking and PM the thread owner telling them why.


What deserves to be moved to where


- Battle/Trade requests ---> Wifi and Trading Subforum

- Gameplay help questions that are not covered in the FAQ ---> Pokemon Diamond and Pearl subforum

- Art Related ---> Art subforum

- Miscellanious/Spam ---> Chatterbox subforum



What deserves to be locked


- Anything that breaks the guild rules

- Anything that turns into a total flamefest

- Anything that just plain out Fails (nitnit reserve judgement for that)


Also, when someone makes a thread in the wrong subforum, they get 1 strike. Tell the person this as well. 3 Strikes, and they get a warning in the rules thread. 2 warnings = contact nitnit for possible punishments. I will make a strike list in the rules thread.



Misc.

- You must have a guild banner in your sig, or no pokemon guild banners at all in your sig... this is because being a part of The Promised Land crew is about having pride in the guild you're in, and that banner helps show that you are proud of being in the guild.

- You are subject to lose your job at any time due to inactivity, or for disservice, or making the guild look bad. In the vast majority of cases, I will give you a warning, and a second chance.
