Economics is a weak subject for me so I can't make a strong argument for or against it really. But if the 2% deduction fee becomes a problem then won't sellers want to avoid having more taken out than they should because the higher they sell the more tax will be imposed... Um, I hope that makes sense.

We should paint ourselves like American Natives and dump Gaian "Gaia Cash" prepaid cards in the Boston Harbor.

That's a fabulous idea, Isel. Unfortunately, I don't live near Boston Harbor. Would tossing them in my neighborhood's rainwater reservoir count? -laughs-

Eh- I'm not for the tax, but I am more concerned about other things.
In the end, none of it's ours anyway. If gaia were to shut down, would you expect refunds for the gaia cash, etc.?
What I think is stupid- is the fact that real money plays a huge role in the gaia economy today.
Anyway- none of it's fair, and it never will be.

Well I found that if you sell something for less than 50g they can't deduct any gold from your sale because 2% of 50 is 1, and 2% of anything less than 50 is less than 1, and they can't take off less than 1g.

rofl I'd be up for that, but I'm too cheap to buy all those cards just to dump them into the harbor.
