So, it was brought to my attention that there is speculation of certain character's presences being plausible if you look at the composer list. Here is an example: Quote: Right off the bat, the first post reveals a flurry of composers from Gaming Past contributing to the project; even if you don’t recognize the names, you probably know a lot of the games. But really, we should all know names like Koji Kondo and Kenji Yamamoto. Crazy speculation: does Yoko Shimomura’s presence indicate Kingdom Hearts characters, or Tomoko Sasaki’s the inclusion of the eponymous androgynous NiGHTS star? Please let Motoi Sakuraba herald the appearance of Issac and co. from Golden Sun! Let's put that in a neat little list. Jun Fukuda / Masafumi Takada - Killer 7
Masato Kouda - Monster Hunter / Devil May Cry
Noriyuki Iwadare / Takahiro Nishi - Grandia
Tomoko Sasaki - NiGHTS
Yasunori Mitsuda - Chrono Trigger / Xenosaga

Motoi Sakuraba - Golden Sun
Am I the only one who is holding their breath over these possibilities? I mean, some are more likely (NiGHTS) than others (DMC/Killer 7) but Sakurai was noted for saying, "This is dangerous. It's a little risky" even, to list these musicians..." so I'm crossing my fingers for the NiGHTS Jester. ^^

On SWF I had a Dante for Brawl thread. See, Dante WAS in a DS game; It was a card game, but he was still in it. But I too noted the "risky" move. wink

Hmmm...I suppose it would be possible. I agree that there's a possibility for third-party characters to be in brawl, judging by the musicians working on the game. Characters like Isaac from Golden Sun would, as many have heard or thought, be a great addition to brawl.

The list posted on the Dojo site is misleading, and here is why:
Motoi Sakuraba has composed music for AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF GAMES.
Suspecting that just because he worked on Golden Sun means Isaac may appear
is just as presumptuous as assuming that we'd also see characters from
Baten Kaitos, Tales games, Star Ocean, Shining Force, and Valkyrie Profile.
Am I saying this means it is unlikely for Issac to appear? No.
I am merely making known the fact that every composer listed on the Dojo site
has worked on a larger variety of games than they are stating.

Not at all.
You can't expect them to list every game,
that page would be huge!
They're listing the most easily recognizable titles to Nintendo players.
I apologize if I sound like a party pooper for pointing it out.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see these characters as much as the next guy (or gal).
With this data, however, we can do little more than cross our fingers.

I'm hoping for Isaac; Golden Sun for the win.
The most peculilar game I saw on that list, was for Devil May Cry. While HIGHLY, unlikely, it's not impossible. What's that? Dante was never on a Nintendo system?
I beg to difer.
He was in a game called SNK vs. Capcom Card Fighter (as a card).
Still unlikely, but not impossible. I think Dante would be a great character for Brawl, but I don't see it happening.
Though if he is in; I'll be pleasantly surprised, and I'm gonna main him. ^ ^

Um, also keep in mind that the composers listed on that page
are, for the most part, completely unaffiliated with the publishers of those games.
While both the NiGHTS jester and Dante are very cool characters,
they have not been present on very many Nintendo consoles,
so I do not think it likely that either of them will appear in Brawl.
However, in the case of characters that are more closely affiliated
(e.g. Isaac, Mega Man, Bomberman, Geno, Sonic, etcetera),
I would not be surprised to see them included as stickers,
if not playable characters themselves.
