I'm caught up.

I'm trying this with worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles. I'll let you know how it turns out.

It should still work, you'll just get a bigger knit item.

Grrr...I'm too late to start along. I just got internet connection today at my home (after three years of not having it!!). But I really want to join in on the next one. Sorry crying

You can still knit it if you want, even if the whole pattern is there now.

What can it be? I'll post pictures of mine on monday since I'll go away this weekend.

I knitted mine in white cotton Worsted yarn (Lily's Sugar n' Cream) since I hat 3 tiny balls left from my last project. It turned out like this:

User Image

I thought he was the perfect size for a Marshmallow Snowman User Image... So here he is!

User Image

I don't have any extra orange yarn yet... so no nose...

For the scarf I cast on 45, k 1 row, and cast off. I think that casting on 55, k 1 row, and casting off would have been better, but I was using scraps! I added fringe.

For the eyes I cast on 5 and cast off. I want to take them off and replace them with buttons however...

When I do make the nose I'll probably cast on 7 and decrease each side until I have a triangle.

Was it a finger puppet? My boyfriend says he's going to glue it to my head while I sleep lol xp

Why does he want to glue it to your head? XD Super cute snowman by the way!

My first thought was egg cosy. Will edit soon with pics of mine :3

It's supposed to be a very small hat, but the snowman is adorable!
Possible uses: egg cosy, to keep your bottle caps warm, for small dolls, christmas ornament, finger puppet, just because it's fun...

The pattern was slightly modified from a pattern for smoothie bottle hats...
You can read more here:

I'll post my hat when I get home and can post some pictures.
