Can you change your sims' last/family name?

I was just wondering if there was any way that you could change your sims' family/last name? (Cheat or mod?)
I married two sims, but didn't realize until later that wanted them to have the other's last name (the one that moved in); can anyone help?

You can do this using SimPE.
(Search in Google if you don't know what it is)
You open SimPE, find the Sim you want to change the name of, change it, save and then they will keep the new name you gave them.
