What attack was it that propelled Link upward into the Flash, though?
I've studied it 10 times over and I can't find it.
It's a glitch; refered to as the "Jacket". I'm not too sure on the details, but it has something to do with the yo-yo, and keeping the hit box attached to you.

A glitch that keeps the hitbox of the yo-yo from disappearing?
