;] Sims 2, non DVD version?

My friends computer NEVER ran any of the Sims 2, and I've finally figured it out. She doesn't have a DVD drive. She really like the game and I want to get it for her.

I think there was a non-Dvd version of the original. Anyone know where they still sell it?

You can probably get it off of Ebay or Amazon. Just make sure it says "CD" somewhere and not "DVD."
As far as regular electronic stores, I don't know. sad

I checked system requirements, and it never said DVD drive anywhere.

That's right. BUT it depends on which seller you're buying it from. Some of them say CD and some of them don't, make sure to check.
(If the seller doesn't say CD or DVD there's no way of telling, except if you can somehow ask them.)

EDIT: I also just found it at the EA Store, but go figure, they say it's out of stock in the search. :/ I don't know if that means they'll ever get it in stock or what. (Plus it doesn't specify whether it's CD or DVD....) You could probably also call or email EA Games for information.
