I've never seen Malabrigo in real life, but all the pictures of it look so lovely... emo

It IS lovely. I picked some up recently to use in a scarf, and it's just heart . Pictures honestly don't do it justice. At least mine didn't.

I like to knit with nice wool, but I'd like to try the insanely soft alpacka-silk I've seen in my favourite yarn store. Mohair-blends can be nice for shawls, but it sheds everywhere! It's still worth it since it's so nice and warm however. 3nodding

Cotton is the way to go for dishcloths but I really don't like knitting with it. Yuck! I've got no problem with the acrylic stuff I've used *shrug*

Dear god, Alpaca. It's soooo soft! *pets yarn* But, I really, really like wool, silk, linen, and cotton too. I dislike almost all acrylic, excepting the soft fuzzy kinds.

Edit- Oh, I forgot angora and chiengora. They're swifty, too. ^.^

I haven't actually knitted with that many kinds of yarn yet. When it comes to normal-type yarns, cotton. I have really soft cotton yarn that's silky in a non-furry way.
When it comes to the "fun"-type yarns, then um...ribbon yarn?
