Anyone else makes real houses?

One of my favourite starter homes is a simplified version of the ground floor of my house. It's cute. whee

Most of the time I don't have any plans when I go to build a house. I just improvise until I have something cute and functional.

I've successfully made all of the homes I've lived in... For a grand total of 3 medium-size houses. razz I once made the apartment I first lived in, but my computer got knocked over and killed the HD. For the past two days, I've completed my home in Texas and my boyfriend's home. 3nodding

I've seen some real homes that I've been inspired to make, but I never ended up finishing them.

I made an almost excact replica of my aunt's house in TS3.
I'd show a pic, but my computer isn't running it anymore.

It's 2-3 stories.

2 Bathroom
Kitchen/Dining Room
Living Room
Upstairs Living Room
Garage
Basement

Took me amost a week to make and get it right and my sims can't even live in it. crying

I recently built a house for my self Sim based on a floor plan I saw online a few days ago.
I modified it because the plan was for a bungalow but I made it a house instead.

I tried to create Lara Croft's mansion from the original Tomb Raider games......it looked like crap.


But I remember once, my mom brought home a real estate book, and the house on the cover looked really nice.

So! I created it in The Sims 2. It looked identical to the house on the cover.


However.....creating rooms inside the house was a challenge.

building houses is probably my favorite thing to do, i was going to start uploading them on exchange lol but they were always sooo expensive lol

I made an Octagon house, and a huge beautiful triangle house and a couple others from when i realllly new that i don't really like

I love building houses I've been in/lived in. I'm currently trying to make my relatives houses and my friends houses. I made mine, and it looks pretty good, but I can't find a way to connect the garage to the house.

I've considered building all the houses I've lived in, I think it would be a fun task. But after that I'd want all the furniture to match too. XD

My boyfriend helped me make the house we're moving into. heart I'm now giving the interiors a makeover, though of course, I could probably never afford this kind of thing in real life. I wouldn't want to, either; that house just isn't worth it, haha.

I rarely make houses with houseplans, but recently did one that makes me kind of like the inspiration it gives.

Most of the time, no, I don't, but every once in a while, I'll go looking through house plan websites, and modify those to fit my sims.

I made a real lot once (I had to guess the inside of the house, since I was only in it once to use the washroom) for a farm we used to keep our horses at.
But other than that, no.
