"Txt Tlk" Being Used Audibly

Sounds like a trip to MY city...I hear that crap all the time in my school. In fact, I have a friend who says "luls" all the time. She knows I don't like it, and she also says that she can't stand text talk either. How does that work? -____-

There is a difference between using chatspeak as a joke and using out of laziness.

I hate text talk for the laziness and the murder of a perfectly good language. There is one that I absolutle hate not only because it is text talk but also for what it usually stands for. OMG While it can also me Oh my gosh, it usually stands for oh my G*d and I consider that blasphemy and taking the Lord's name in vain. I cringe every time I see that. Some of my friends who are christians use it and I yell at them but they won't stop. DEATH TO TEXT TALK!!!! scream

Christianity. rolleyes OMG pretty much just stands for OMG now. Just like AOL doesn't mean "America online" anymore, just AOL.
