Izulu frowned as he circled the little turtle before him, his ears flattened and his mind somewhat baffled as he tried to figure out what he was supposed to do. Sure, he could probably pull at the shell where those holes were, but what if that thing bit him? He didn't want his toes chewed off, and he didn't know that the little thing couldn't turn around in his shell anyway.
He turned his gaze back up to his mother with a little frown, then glanced down at the belly. He reached out to poke at it, little paws pushing and prodding, and then shook his head with a bit of confusion gleaming in his blue eyes. "Maa," he said with a bit of a whine to his voice, tail tucking slightly around one leg, "I don't know what to do." He hated not knowing, since he always felt the need to know everything, or at least pretend that he did - but for once, he needed his mother's help, and he wasn't too proud to admit it.
