I admit, I was in towns just a few minutes ago. But, while I was there, I saw a number of people 'cybering'. Why must they do this? Why?!? I would just like to ask for people's opinions on this matter.

I suppose it's also because they feel the need to reenact what's done in real life online. In other words, give a "normal" and a more "human" feeling to the net....though I wish they didn't.
You may as well ask why people role-play online; it's the same concept but different actions (and unfortunately, different mindsets.)
That's just my opinion, though. sweatdrop

Keh. The world is full of perverts and bad people in general. It's now rare to find a nice, civilized person. At least, based on my experiences.
