Can't marry...

I started over and started out with a family, their son grew up and I made a girl for him to marry. However, the 'propose' option isn't available, so they can't get married. D:

Do I need to download something, or reinstall the game? If I have to, will I lose all of my custom stuff?

Are they Young Adults at university or just Adults? Young Adults can only get engaged while at uni and have to wait until they are Adults before they can marry. Also make sure that their relationship is high enough for the option to appear.

I don't have University lol so it's just adults. I do everything you're supposed to do for someone to get engaged, but the option never appears. D:

They're able to have kids. Or do they not need to be in love for that? lol

What are their relationship scores with each other?

Usually up to 100 or if I haven't done anything it's somewhere in the 90s.

Like, you know, you do everything with the sims to get them to marry eachother but the option just won't show. The only time they are married is when I create the sims at the same time...

This is probably going to sound stupid but I'm asking for my own clarity: You have two adult Sims who cannot get married or who cannot get engaged?

Well, try saving all your CC to a CD or something & then try re-installing it if it keeps up or a less drastic idea is to just re-create them.

Actually something you could try before a reinstall, which I had completely overlooked, would be to simply move your Downloads folder onto your desktop and then run the game and see if the get engaged/married option is there. If it is then there is something in your downloads causing the problem.
