Toady in Government, my teacher read a letter he got from a used car salesman. It read as follows:

Hello. Thank you for you generous purchase this month. Thanks to you and others like you we have had a fantastic past month last month. I have sold many of our previous loyal customers.

And that's just the first paragraph....

I thought...slavery was illegal...

He meant to say "I have sold to many of our previous customers." The whole class had that reaction too.
