Ooooh, trade lionesses? That didn't sound like such a bad idea. Besides, if she got one of Sen's pride members over here, she would be able to convince Sen that drumming wasn't such a bad thing after all. Yes, this would work out wonderfully. But who to send? She couldn't very well send Kitambi. She needed to be around to learn how to be the next queen. She couldn't send somebody else's cubs either. Who to send... who to send... Did Waseme just volunteer? Yes! She would work perfectly!

Nsundu grinned widely when Waseme agreed to go, giving her an affectionate nudge. "Atta girl! Alright, she'll go, and we'll be expecting someone from you, Green-eyes!" While some may have found it funny for her to give her cub away to some lioness she'd just met, Nsundu didn't think anything of it. It would be a good experience for Waseme, and she had volunteered for it.

"It's a promise!" Nsundu called after Sen, as Kitambi sat silently at her side. She didn't know how long it would be until she saw her sister, but perhaps this time apart would do them good. She could hope.
