If you could help that would be realy appreciated. redface redface redface redface Noun- A person, place, thing or idea Ex: The dog was big, black, and frightening. Verb- Any word that indicates action (passive or active) Ex: After I ran to the store, I was very tired. Adjective- Modifies the noun Ex: The red ball bounced very high. Adverb: Modifies the verb (usually end in -ly) Ex: The girl screamed enthusiastically Pronoun: Replaces a noun (I, you, he, she, it, we, they) Ex: I love grammar! Conjunction: Connect two ideas (for, and, nor, but, or, yet) Ex: I ran to the store and bought a pencil. Preposition: Shows relationship to one phrase to another (of, after, under, etc... think "A Mouse can go ______") Ex: The man on the platform was very loud.
