Well my friends, Xmas is coming along quite quickly.
Attempting to gnaw at our heels and quickly starting to succeed.
I'd like to voice an idea,a speculation.
Why don't we do a Xmas Pollyanna?

how does a secret santa work? i live in england n ive only heard of such a thing from friends(tv show) so i cant remember what happens, what to do etc...
but i am pretty sure im gonna need more then 1k stressed

You get assigned a person so that you're their "Santa". Your job is to get them something for Christmas, so you need to ask their friends, or use other rescources to find out what they want.

We'll have to do a sign up sheet though because not all guild members participate on a regular basis. But honestly, it does sound really good. We'll talk it over some more. =)

Oh, and we'll put a price limit on.... like it has to be between 800-1300 gold or whatever...

To all those who hear me all too well.

You wouldn't even need a price range really, just a minimum gift value.
Like, nothing worth under 1k.
And then if someone's feeling uber generous they could give someone something worth more.
With the knowledge that they're maybe not going to get something worth anymore than the minimum.
Like DTTPAY.

I find the idea great. o.o
But that takes a bit of time to be organized, like, setting a time for entrants and on next week or ten days after, releasing the pairings and one week fter starting the item trade time, probably in sequence from the order it usually takes, the one that received the item is the next to give. o.o But we could separate the main grup in 2 at least for speed? I mean, so both the groups can deliver at once, as this is response based, it can become slow and it may stake up time. o.o It's expected that most of us won't be here for long during the last week of December.

ill do it too, and i agree with orangeJ, i know i wudnt run off n giv nuthing back in return but there mite be sum ppl in this guild who will. Plus i dont get how we can go around asking ppl's mates what such n such likes when we barely no eachother or know whos friends with who.
