Is Twilight becoming too popular to a point where it's not as much of a big deal any more?

I honestly don't care if it's popular or not but I just LOVE heart books about vampires & other mythical creatures. But they seriously better do a good job with the movie or else I'll go crazy. I'll probably kill all the actors and the director twisted

Although Twilight's fan-base has expanded to include the less, shall we say, insightful, I think it's good that Stephanie is getting so much publicity with a unique and well-written series. I think the series' growing popularity is a positive thing.
