Okay, this is entitled "Wonderland" and I wrote it for an ex who's a huge fan of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland"
You’re just about as crazy as Carroll’s Mad Hatter
I mean you’re the one who chose
To run home before being batter
Who said it was okay to use people at your discretion
Like pawns on a chessboard
Completely blind to your deception?
You’re like a spoiled little prince
With servants at your feet
Ready to please you in less than a heartbeat
Never understanding that there’s more to the world than you
Never feeling pain nor grief
And never once believing that life could be hard for you
After all I’ve done you still treat me like crap
Is it really that surprising
That I chose to fight back
I was just a pawn in your sick little game
While my heart was torn to pieces
To you it was all the same
All these memories that plague me
Like some incurable disease
If don’t let go I know I’ll never be free
I want you to know my love was never yours
All these years my soul you tortured
And my life’s ambition you took through deception and force
Goodbye my Cheshire friend
Into the depths of Hell
Has your psychotic smile been sent
I have moved on and I have survived
Never once did I need the Queen of Hearts’
Permission to stay alive
