I opened your topic because I was bothered by its title. It is supposed to be 'Why do following the rules'.

You sure? It sounds right by saying 'Why does it result' rather than 'Why do it result' right?

Well, if I am considered a sheep because I try really hard to follow the proper rules of grammar, then I only have one thing to say. Baaah!

My teachers spent a lot of time working with me to get it though my thick skull that it is more impressive to others to have the skill of proper communication. So, excuse me for being a proper upstanding citizen. In the business world proper grammar can get you far.
