A poem I wrote for english class last year

[My Exquisite Chaos]

This is a poem i wrote my senior year for an english project

The battle starts like any other,
My fingers hover over the buttons,
My heart races.
I see you come at me,
Sword blazing,
A blur of pain that was meant for me,
But something is different this time.
My fingers are no longer separate from the controller,
They move as one,
Actions that were once forced and hurried
Now are swift and precise.
A look at my HP bar makes my heart race,
It’s almost gone,
But so is yours.
And as I think I’m about to die
I raise my keyblade for the final blow.
It’s you or me,
The fate of the battle rests
in the speed of our blades.
I can feel my heart pounding in my chest,
And the shouts of my brother as he watches
My blade slash you.
And then it is over,
And I can’t believe my eyes.
You have fallen,
And I have not.
I jump into the air,
Shouting words of joy,
For today I have won.
Sephiroth,
The greatest of all villains,
Is defeated.
