I wish there was a way you could meet my mother, she is FANTASTIC at sewing corsets she's made tons for my sister who is into lolita and goth culture she could hook you up lol

If your looking for a modern corset type thing, I'm of no use. But a historical corset, with real boning, is a whole new issue. ^^ If it calls for boning and you want actual support out of the thing, dont use plastic boning. Order 1/4 inch steel, coated, from the internet. I can recommend a site, if you'd like.

believe it or not the corset patts that simplicity and mccalls sell for the Victorian area are really good.. I have quite a few for renn/med fair and a few for that area and they come out really nice
