Handgun-mounted-laser-pointers in the PAW?

I got back from the range about an hour ago, and might I say it was fun.
I shot the familys new Taurus [PT1911].

We also brought along the SIG Mosquito [.22].
I was suprised at how much my accuracy increased with it, and how much faster I could shoot.

At 30' or so, all 10 rounds in the centre, 10 shots in 3-5 seconds [or so] is pretty darn good.
Compare this to scattered around the paper, with carefully aimed shots.

No one really acknowledges my posts there, so I decided I'll post it here,

My problem with them is their tendency to drift, same as with other optics. My brother's internal laser sight on his Glock 17 was terrible at that. For me, it's iron sights all the way.

They give away your position and aren't very good during the day if it's bright out.

If sighted in properly they would work for self-defence when you cant take precious time to aim, and they are pretty nifty, as long as you aren't trying to hide they would work perfectly fine.
