If you have played any of the Metal Gear Solid games, you know the main character, Solid Snake, is always trying to destroy a form of Metal Gear. Metal Gear is a massive, bipedal, nuclear weapon capable of destroying major cities in mere minutes. If you need a picture, here is the Shagohod, the form of Metal Gear that was portrayed in MGS3


The story of Metal Gear Solid 3 takes place in the mid-60's just before America had entered into the Vietnam War a year later. It was a time of tension as both sides of the world's superpowers collided against eachother. The United States and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics went head to head with the use of threats presented by the new technological weapon known as the Nuclear Bomb. Now, with the help of the US Goverment and a Goverment funded project with collobration of the CIA, a new Special Forces Unit was created known as FOX. Its purpose was to go behind enemy lines and do the wet work without the other side knowning who it was. Major Zero leads the newly formed FOX unit into its first mission in the heart of Russia with their first candidate...a veteran of warfare -- Jack aka Naked Snake.

Each member of FOX, except for the Boss and Volgin has a codename that represents the emotion they feel in battle.

This is the team assigned to eliminate the threat was composed of Naked Snake, Major Zero, Para-Medic, Sigint.

Isnt solidius snake in this game?

and why didnt you meantion big boss/the original snake? hes really important ya know.

1. No, solidus is in MGS2, Liquid is in this one

2. I did mention Big Boss, the members of FOXHOUND want his remains.

3. Neither have I so I was hoping that we could "wing it"

Dragon walked into the forest and looked to his left. He saw snake come out of the door into the snowfield. Dragon threw liquids parachute over the tree to distract snake so Wolf could take him out. She had failed. Dragon had conviniently found the body of a barely alive psycho mantis earlier. He was compelled to bring him out to finish snake. Dragon observantly watched a battle ensue between Wolf and Snake. He got a transmission from Grey Fox. 'Dragon, I see you. You arent a very good ninja.' Dragon suddenly felt the air change and he caught three bullets that came from Fox's gun. Dragon ran over and a battle ensued between the two, distracting him from his official mission, which was to finish snake after he killed Sniper Wolf and Vulcan Raven.
