How to link to a specific part of a page when still on that same page?
And also how to make the link a pic or text? If anyone knows the coding I'd greatly appreciate it.

To make a picture linked:

[url=link][img]IMG link[/img][/url]

And just replace the

[img]IMG link[/img]

part with whatever text you want it to turn into.

I dunno how to link certain parts of pages, though.

I don't know how to do the partway-down-the-page thing, but to make a link a pic, you do [img ] image location [/img ][/url ].
Text is similar, but instead of the image tags, just type your text.

Like say the posts on a page are really long, so instead of making someone scroll you give them links to each post in the first one, so they can just click and view it.

Well, I dunno if this still works or not, but I can tell you how to do it for Gaia posts. It worked a couple years ago, but I tried a few months ao and it wasn't working. Dunno if it's fixed again, I don't use it often.

To the right of the page, by each post, there's the date, right? And to the left of the date, there's a little page with the top right corner folded over. It's linked. If you click that, it'll open up a new window--or tab, depending--and you can copy and paste that URL, and it's a direct link to that post.

For example, your last post:
6th post down

Dunno how to do it for other sites.
