I say we, as Americans, rename India. The country. So we can stop calling them Indians and keep the Indian moniker for our extinct Thanksgiving Brethren.
Just as a nation, mind you. If you consider the education in this country it isn't till the eighth or so grade that we learn about Buddhism and touch very lightly on the Hindu cast system.

India really hasn't offered us anything besides gas station clerks and terrible food.
Indians gave us corn and this great continent. Also, canoes.
