GAH! I'm so sorry, everyone. It just figures I would get sick when I should be announcing the winner sweatdrop (I have terrible karma, I really do)
I slept most of yesterday 'cause I'm on this cough medicine that has codeine (!!!) in it and I never had time to even turn on my computer.
I sincerly apologize!

Sorry i haven't really been able to talk sooner. We had quite a bit of chaos in my neck of the woods. My husband and I's anniversary was Friday and ironically our basement flooded!!! Four feet of water, the fire department, and a giant dumpster later... everything is better now.
I wanted to say thank you for choosing me as the winner. It has been a long time since I sat down to write some serious poetry. I think everyone did an awesome job! and the more I thought about it I would like to put an idea out there to add an historical poetry section to the guild. With maybe a different theme each week. What do you think?

is everything better now? things happen, like two days ago in the storm a tree on my backyard fell down (it was big). hope you can fix it, ps i'm workig on a similar idea go read the "new contest?" in the main forum.
