Yiku awoke suddenly. She slipped out of her bed and tip toed towards the door, taking her shortspear as well as she passed it leaning against the wall. Looking outside, she sighed. It was only a deer.
Knowing that she was not in any danger, she got dressed, putting on the simple clothes that she owned as a druid. They looked like those of a commoner, but of a better quality. Once she was finished, she stepped out into the forest.
Yiku heard something moving on the tree that her cottage was built around.
"Good morning, Drasin," she said to her animal companion. She held up her arm, and the lizard jumped onto it, climbing to his normal resting spot of her shoulder. "Let's go say hello to everyone else," she told him as she started to walk to were the other druids were.
