No, no, Acacia said, shaking her head. I mean like just expose ourselves for what we really are!

I don't think thats a good idea. Have you heard about the Area 51? There is a whole city of people just like us who decided to reveal themselves underground.

Fenrick splayed and unsplayed his hand making the fire go out and come back.

Area 51? she thought, mildly sarcastically. She looked at the ground, then to the fire. What's holding you back? Acacia finally asked, completely serious now, staring at Fenrick.

My brother is in Area 51. Along with my friends. I even had a girlfriend.
His voice cracked.

They all didn't make it out of the government's clutches.

Acacia's face immediately became sympathetic. Why didn't you stay? she asked in a soft, gentle, small, and slightly confused voice, her wings drooping slightly.

I was the only one who made it out of the raid.

The Feds raided a small town that I had called my hometown. They thought my sister had blown up a building. I went to protect her.

Acacia looked at the ground, not knowing exactly what to say. A simple I'm sorry couldn't bring her back. Then she thought of something. Do you know where she's buried?

Fenrick lifted his pantleg and revealed two long scars about 6 inches long.

My family, also went to protect her. She died in the raid, the bastards didn't know what her power was. So they left her body. I was the only one who could step ionto the Realm so I got out. I buried her under a great Sycamore tree.

Acacia alighted on the branch on which Fenrick sat. She looked up at him tentatively. Do you think I might be able to bring her back?

Acacia smiled. I'm a harpy, she said, a faint spark glinting in her eye. Well, part harpy, anyway. My mom was. I have the power to take life and also to give. It's what I do.

She grinned and stood up, expertly twirling her sword around her right fingers before catching it in fighting position.

She always wanted to be left-handed, but she was a rightie, so she'd have to stick with that.

Shall we go? Acacia asked, lowering her other hand down to him to help him up.

kazumi looks around disgused as a human."hi,can i order some ramen."kazumi asked as she sat down on a table.as her ordered arrived she saw a fly.than she ate all the ramen and said."sorry,i got no money,but i can pay as entertainment.the owner aggreed then kazumi grabbed her fan amd started doing a dance.at the end,everybody clapped and she left.
