Unyezi could see that his mask wasn't really working in hiding how surprised he really was about this bit of a news, and he mentally cursed himself for it. He put on a slightly better expression, though he wasn't exactly sure how to comment on such a thing properly. It didn't mean anything except they would soon be welcoming new members into the pride, and that Mitsuki had better come back soon.
"Ah," he mumbled finally before speaking up, putting on a small smile, "Guess that means we need Dyst or Mitsuki back soon. Mitsuki went with Njiru, they aren't here yet- but I don't doubt they will be soon enough." Unyezi wasn't lucky enough to lose his brother, but then they really needed their hunters- and midwife and historian that went with him were needed as well.

Shira wouldn't dig - he'd probably lost enough sleep about it, without her going after him for information. Instead she nodded, looking away from him and studying the land around them.
"Yes. If it's necessary, I can stand in. But it would be far better for everyone involved - " Especially her " - if Dyst or Mitsuki came back."
She preferred to have as little to do with children as possible. She did her damned best to avoid getting with child herself (knowing herbs was very useful at times) and really didn't want to have to deal with other lionesses' brats.
"Are we almost there?" She asked, straining her senses to catch the scent and sight of other lions.

It didn't take a genius to know what Shira was not the fondest of cubs, especially where she'd somehow managed to avoid taking an apprentice so far. That would need to be taken care of, and as quickly as possible once they got settled in. Perhaps if Nerit birthed cubs of high class then they could borrow one for such a position, but if not then it would have to be the position filled sooner rather than later.
"Hopefully they'll find us soon," he said with a small smile, and then picked up the pace a bit when Shira asked if they were almost there, "Yes, not far now."

Rather than the scent of lions, however, came a different still familiar scent. A smell she'd missed, and secretly feared she might never catch on the wind again.
"I can smell it." She said softly, not bothering to specify what 'it' was. She increased the pace again, moving at a quick trot towards the source of the smell. Finally her den would be full again, her pouch readied for any ritual. Finally.
"I'll only need a little, and then you can take me to the rogue's den."
Relief filled her at the scent of the Herb, and she felt a smile steal over her features. Truly, this was home.

Shira did not need to explain what 'it' was, Unyezi was smart enough to figure that out without any help. One thing he was sure mattered a great deal to the shaman was her job, and if ever in doubt of what the hell she was talking about, you could often guess it was related to that. He smiled when she deviated from the path he was taking.
"The dens are this way," he nodded off in the direction he was facing, "You get what you need and meet me there, I'll find Mwenzangu." With that, the king turned and headed off to find the rogue.
