No hem yet, because I'm lazy. Would lace be too much for this? I want to put something on the bottom.

a sold color ruffle underneath that would look very cool. like a similar but darker blue. i wouldn't go with lace, but that's just me

you could add a solid color edging around the bottom hem with like a 1/2" bias tape. That might be cool, and easiler than hemming... maybe.

That's cute! I think lace or a ruffle would look very nice. smile

I would say lace would be like burning it.
Solid black at the bottom would be cute, though.
and kudos on the EnV.
I have one, too.

I love my enV.

I ended up just hemming it, no lace. Also, the colors are blueish teal / chocolate brown. Doesn't show up very well in the picture, sorry!

I think black lace would be adorable and give it a finished look, but I don't know about another color. I always thought the skirts in mainstream stores that were very nice but had completely mismatched-color lace looked like someone didn't have the color they needed but decided if they put lace on it, it would sell better.

i would suggest a hem matching the brown(?) in the skirt only cause it will match other finished clothes better. I say stay away from the lace...I work with lace it is the devil...........sorry I inner lace hate reared its head. However if yyou want to use lace and are not sure how it would look try this. If you can get a slip with lace around the edge throw in on under the skirt see how you like it. Most will say why spend the monet but I say a girl always needs at least one slip and two if you run into the problem again the slip is right there.

I dunno if I'd do anything with the bottom, really. I think it looks great the way that it is! Well, minus the hemming of the skirt...you gotta hem it.

I love it as is, but if you're dead set on putting something on the bottom maybe try some of the shorter beaded fringe. It may be overkill, though, so up to you ^_^.
