Ravi With the sun high in the sky, Ravi could see far off into the horizon and where the pride's territory began. With watchful eyes, he was taking his job quite seriously. He wanted to do everything he could for the pride, and thus, he wouldn't fail Kota or Tamba with being lazy. And so, he was here, on duty watching the border to see if there were any newcomers to the territory. Zarin As his paws traveled forward, almost on their own, Zarin couldn't help but feel the distinctive tug whenever he thought about the ocean...and Siya. He couldn't help it, but he was falling head over heels in love with the silvery lioness. She was everything he loved, playful and carefree, someone he could protect and at the same time, have fun.
With Siya's image in his mind, he had bade farwell to his family in the desert to settle down at the ocean. He couldn't call the desert home like his family could, there was just something about that place that didn't call to him the way the water did. Perhaps that had something to do with the fact that he was from the Mistweaver land and grew up around water part of his life. Whatever it was, he was glad of the choice he was making even if it meant that he wouldn't be around his family as often. It was a sacrifice that he was willing to take. Ravi At one of the places where Kota showed him, Ravi had a clear view of the land before him. Perched at his spot, he could hear the soft sounds of the waves rolling onto shore behind him. His ears were perked forward, listening to hear anything different in the wind. After watching the horizon for some time, a figure started to immerge. Curious, the firekin male watched the figure slowly take shape into a lion heading this way. It was his duty to find out the reason for this male's visit and what his intentions were. He slowly stood up and started to make his way towards the other. He had no intentions on starting anything up with another, since that was not his job. His job was to gather information and to make it known that this was a pride's territory and the other should be aware.

Zarin As Zarin got closer to the shore, he could hear the waves crashing into the shore. It was a nice, lulling sound that he had missed when he went back home to his family. As his turquoise eyes gazed forward, he spotted a figure not too far off in the distance watching him. He could feel the hairs on the back of his neck rise slightly, not too sure who this lion was. The colors of the other lion, he did not recognize, but then again, he did not know every other member of Siya's pride other than herself. It was only a matter of time before he ran into another member.
Not wanting to seem like he was looking for trouble, he walked towards the other lion calmly before he called out, "Hello." Ravi Golden eyes kept the lion in view as Ravi let the other come to him. He did not recognize the lion and he knew just about everyone in the pride, so this had to be a rogue wandering into their territory and he'd kindly remind the other that there was a pride here. His ears perked forward as he heard the greeting and replied, "Hello to yourself."
And then he added, "Are you aware that you're coming close to the Bahari'mtoto's land? Do you have a purpose here? If you don't, then all I ask is that you be aware that we have cubs in our pride and don't wish to bring any trouble to them." Zarin As Zarin got closer to the male, he could really tell the size difference between them. He felt small and dainty compared to the larger, buffer lion. But he shouldn't be scared since the other lion didn't make any motions to be aggressive, just curious, as he was himself.
Though, the male's question caught him offguard. He didn't know there were patrols for the pride, but then again, he didn't know much about prides in the first place since he's never really been apart of one himself. He stood before the larger male as he replied, "I am Zarin. I have a friend that lives here within your pride and I'm on a visit to see her. I do not bring any harm to your members," He then added as a afterthought to help strengthen his story, "Her name is Siyasura, or Siya, as she likes to be known.

Ravi Golden eyes sized the male up as Ravi listened intently to Zarin's story. It was innocent enough and he wasn't going to start anything with the other, that was not his job afterall. His job was to check who was coming into the pride lands and what their objective was. Though hearing Zarin speak of his friend's name, Ravi's eyes widen in surprise. This male knew Siya? What a small world this was turning out to be.
"You know Siya?" He asked, though it was more of a rhetorical question than one to be answered, "My mate is best friends with Siya, it is rather surprising that she knows an outsider." He gave the male a small smile, "I am Ravi, it is a pleasure to meet you, Zarin." Curiosity got the better of him, "How long have you known Siya for?" Zarin Zarin let out a breath he didn't know he had held. He had felt quite intimidated by the male, but all that washed away as Ravi introduced himself and even more, his mate knew Siya. This, he did not know. But, it made him happy on the inside since that meant that Siya had friends within her pride as well. Plus, he would want to meet Ravi's mate one day, perhaps the three of them could all play together.
"Oh really? I did not know that...but then again, I didn't ask Siya about any of the pride members that she is friends with. Though, I am glad to know that she has friends," He paused to think of an answer, "I think I've known her for a little while...it was actually on accident that I met her." He nodded his head before he asked, "I've always been curious, how large is your pride?" Ravi Ravi listened to the male, seeing no evil intentions on Zarin or any conviction in his voice. He was just here to see his friend, a visit with no other intentions. He let his muscles relax as he gave the male a small smile before he thought about the question, "We have a handful of members, I've met most of them. But, the pride is still growing."
He then glanced towards the ocean before he looked back towards Zarin, "Well, I don't want to keep you too long from having some fun. All I ask is that you be careful of the cubs within the pride, since we don't want to bring in any trouble."

Zarin With a nod, Zarin listened to Ravi's words and he could see the affection that the other male held for this pride. And, he had no intentions of causing trouble since this is where Siya lived, and hopefully, where he would stay as well. "Thank you very much for the advice and don't worry, I have no intentions of causing any trouble for you or anyone else in the pride."
He took a few steps forward before turning back to glance at Ravi, "I hope we can meet again, I'd like to get to know you and your mate, Ravi. Take care!" With that, he continued forth to go meet Siya where she normally was, at the shore. Ravi Golden eyes watched the male as Zarin's figure got smaller and smaller. Ravi made a note to himself that he should get to know the male better, since it would be nice to have some friends. He had a feeling he'd see more of Zarin in the future. Once the male wasn't in his line of sight, he turned his gaze back towards the border and continued his job of watching the pride's lands.
