The game stop biggest smash tourney ever

I am pretty decent at the game, but not exactly tournament status.

I got to the semifinals of the first tourny as Pit, but was beaten out by Karn.
He has the frick'n Japanese version, why did he even bother to go to the tournament?

it started a few hours b4 the launch of the game so noone truly knew how to play

I guess I kinda lucked out because no one competing had the Japanese version, so we were all new. I came in second.

i won the first two tourneys but i lost today cause my random character was mario and hes one of the 3 characters i dont use ... the others being sonic and lucario ... i would have loved to have that samuri trophie

I got 4th for the melee part of the tournament.. he was captain falcon and he knows all these advanced tricks (so do I) but he was just better. He told me he goes to smashboards and to tournaments... and I did really good against him for not really going to any tournaments... His captain falcon beat my ness with only one life left so I almost beat him. Since it was best of 3 he next picked Marth and 4-stocked me easily... (sad face)
