My mates a furry, I've tried Dating guys that arent, but it always ends... well odd really, they just dont get it or find it weird

Well, my mate wasn't a furry when we first met, but I converted them to the fur side of things back when we were just friends...
I'm like the wonder Furry Converter. Everyone I speak to instantly plops on a pair of ears. X3
Well, at least in my experience, if I have a friend who shares ANY of my interests and I can explain what a furry is in a plain, sane, non-sexual way they immediately ask,"Oh, so what kind of furry would I be?!" And usually evolve their own fursona...
On the subject of dating someone who wasn't a furry, would never BE a furry, and wouldn't want to be drawn/depicted as a furre... I don't think it would work out... I draw furry art all the time, my nickname is "Buni", and hell, I've even given my parents fursonas that they accept and talk about occasionally. Being furry is a big part of who I am, it's something I'm passionate about, and even if it's just a silly hobby it's MY silly hobby... And I don't want a mate who doesn't share my passions. ^.^

My last couple mates have been furries, in fact the first one was the guy who showed me what the fandom really was [before that I just had an obsession with drawing animals and cuddling on stuffies]. The current boy I'm a little attached to is not however, and it can be a little hard at times. He'll poke fun of course, but he really doesn't mind in the slightest. He thinks the art work is nice, hell he often comissions me for random things that he thought would be interesting. He even has a "furry adoptive name" To go by when goofing around when it is appropriate, but I would never want to force him too far into it. I guess I'm not a hard core furry myself though, so it all comes out in the wash ^.^

she sort of is she has a fursona and understands and accepts the culture but dosent embrace it too mutch but I still love her! weather she has fur or not she is cuddly!
