Cassandra peddled lazily as she biked down the street with Crash trotting along beside her. The German Sheppard was actually behaving himself at the moment making today's trip fairly pleasant. Not that Cassandra was quite sure why they were out at the moment. Normally she didn't bike with her dog except on Wednesdays, yet today she'd found herself winding her way to the park.
The sun was dipping slowly below the horizon when Cassandra rolled to a stop in front of one of the parks many drinking fountains. Hopping off her bike the woman bent over for a drink while Crash investigated a particularly interesting patch of grass.

Avedis stepped out from behind a tree. "Hello," he said, and shifted the bundle from one arm to another. It squalled- was it a baby? That would be strange, since the man behind the tree looked more like the rapist type than the wander-around-the-park-with-a-kid-in-tow type.

Crash's ears pricked forward and the dog was suddenly on alert watching every move the suddenly appearing stranger made.
Cassandra's eyes narrowed, who was this person and what were they doing with.. whatever it was they were holding. " Hello, what do you want?" Being approached when she was semi alone with night fast approaching did not reassure the woman that this was a good situation. Perhaps this person like most mistook her for and child and thus an easy target for some sort fo ploy. Well she wasn't a child and nothing he had was going to lure her very far.
Although it sounded more like he was carrying an infant than a puppy or kitten. Either way warning bells were ringing in her head loud and clear.

"I just came to give you something that's yours." He opened both hands to prove he held nothing except the whimpering bundle, and was thusly no threat. And since he had nothing else, the child in his arms must be the thing that was hers that he had come to give her. Right? Avedis's smile was quietly unnerving. "Cassandra, yes? You've been out and about this evening, I've noticed."

Cassandra eyes the bundle suspiciously. Why did she want this exactly and who the hell was he to be following her and giving it to her. " Yes I'm Cassandra and yes I've been out today. Who are you and why do you have a ..child for me" The words caught her in throat and the woman shivered.
Was this, was this about back then? It couldn't be because that child..

"The first is unimportant and the second is for you to discover." Quickly- so quickly that the dog couldn't possibly stop him, and so quickly that the baby started to wail- he put the child on the seat of the bike.

Worried about it's precarious position Cassandra reached out and scooped the baby up. Though she was still confused about all of this she let her attention slide from the mysterious man to the crying child which she rocked, following them method she'd seen friends use with their children. Right now it was more important than the stranger.
Crash growled low in his throat but did not move, he'd been too well trained to attack without a command.

"That's it, then," Avedis said, pleased. "He's yours now. Good night." With that, he vanished.
