Chozi stretched and rolled away from a beached log with a small grunt and sigh, his light eyes flicking over the beach as he smiled broadly and marveled at it's beauty. The deep wet water, it was so amazing and he blessed every day he awoke to see it. However, days had been growing lonely and he went longer and longer with out contact from his family, who seemed to be growing. He had not yet seen his mothers new cubs, but desperately he wanted to play with them and teach them games!

He yawned as he headed toward the shore, the salty smelling water lapping at his paws as he shook out his large mane, his gaze floating toward the sun. It would not be long until night fell upon the baharimoto lands, but he enjoyed the huge expanse of stars much more, especially paired with the quiet and beautiful sounds of the ocean.

The Goddess was in her mortal skin, resting beside the sea, gazing out at the underlining beauty that pulled in and out as the waves trickled over one another roughly, her wolf like eyes narrowed as a soft sigh passed her chest, her bright red coat shimmering brightly in the son.
She was not very talkative nor did she seem to be looking for a social experience, in fact she looked rather… pissed off, sitting all by herself, her claws scraping over a rock that she rested herself upon. Her fangs flashed as she yawned, purring to herself darkly.

She hated hiding her turn self, but, for today she would.

Chozi smiled and turned away from his pressent view, beginning to move down the shore as he took his usual evening stroll, letting his thoughts move away with the tide. He wasn't one to brood, and he did not like feeling lonely about his family. In fact, he often felt as though he might start crying if he thought too hard about them and that was never any good, he knew he was a crybaby. Hell, his name meant tear, did it not?

After a small stretch of the beach he came to one of the more rocky areas, and was surprised to see another form out this early on in the evening, most lions waited at least another hour before they woke to do their nightly duties. He grinned, estatic for company. He was instantly at ease when he saw the red coat, it reminded him of his grandfather and his oldest brother.

A slow purr began to rumble from his chest, he was small in stature like his father, sleek but much more toned and stronger looking than his dad. He had to be if he wanted to rough house with Aten when they were cubs.

As he got even closer he just grinned, tossing some of the white mane away from his face. "Oy, hi there!"

Her moon-lit eyes narrowed as she frowned and stood up, giving him a rather dirty look. She didn’t seem pleased to see him, nor did she even bother to respond at first. In fact, she had turned herself around, as if acting like she never say him in the first place, yawning.

She hated males, mortal males the most. After her first mate... lover, who had used her and ran off with her cubs, she felt she would NEVER trust another mortal male again.

And this showed.

Chozi stopped in his tracks at such a cold reception, completely dumb struck by the breif thought that she was being rude on purpose. That couldn't possibly be it, though. No one had ever been rude to him in his life, though his sister's attitude often boardered on it it seemed different coming from a family member.

He frowned and then his smile perked up again, perhaps she hadn't heard him? He bounded forward again, very childish in his thinking. He started to move in a big arc around her, wanting to give her space but also wanting to come into her view point. "Hey, hi there!" He shouted, this time a bit louder. "I don't think I've seen you in these lands before.."

“You haven’t.”

She snorted and backed away as he came near, her ears pushing backwards with slight anger and discontent. She didn’t want anyone to get to close to her, not even her own sister. Her eyes flashed at him, as if to give him a warning not to get too close. She wouldn’t fall for another male’s tricks again.

“What do you want?”

She snapped, gazing at him with cold eyes.

The smile slid off once again, it seemed the ignorance she'd first tried had been what she intended, but you couldn't blame him for thinking differently. He stood awkwardly where he was at her warning gaze, struggling to find something else to say, wondering if perhaps he should leave her alone? But that was note so polite and he was a polite boy, that was just how he'd grown up.

But it was too late, he could already feel his eyes begin to water from how cold she was behaving toward him. "O-oh... I just.." He felt very awkward and his gaze jerked away from her, obviously searching which direction he should head in and thinking of an excuse. "I'm sorry.." He breathed out, unsure of how to answer that. "I just... I thought... conversation.."

“Going to cry, are you? Pish, you have no tail bone if you are going to let a female get away with making you tear up. Such a pathetic display, really. Grow up.”

She chuckled and sat herself down, gazing at him darkly again. Oh, she had hit a nerve and it was one that she found pleasure in. He seemed so tiny and stupid in front of her right now, looking like a little lost kitten. She laughed at him.

“If you want to gain ANY respect from anyone in your life time, stop with the water works. Really.”

Oh this was too much, he wished Kapuki was around! He could feel his throat tightening at her reprimands, but her words only made him want to cry more, not stop it. He turned away from her and swallowed, bowing his head multiple times. "R-r-r-right... s-s-s-sorry.." He breathed out, wondering why he had to run into such a mean female.

He shifted and stumbled a little, but then turned around again because he thought it be better to head back to his sleeping place. Oh she'd completely numbed his mind in a matter of seconds! "I... I didn't mean... any harm.." He whined out as he started to pass her again, moving quickly. Respect... respect... he didn't know much about respect, but if he had to chose between respect and friendship paws down he'd chose the latter each and every time.
